Denise Rekem is very knowledgeable in the field of Special Education. I needed advice about modifying an IEP and accommodations in the public schools. She helped me understand what the school is required to do and offered many practical solutions. She is very personable and makes you feel at ease. When you have a special needs child, it makes the world of a difference to have an attorney by your side. But not just any attorney. Lisa Parles and Denise Rekem are not only two exceptional attorneys with expertise in education law, they are wonderful human beings. For many years, our little boy was not getting the services, help, and support that he needed. As a result, both our son and our family suffered greatly. When they came into our lives, they gave us hope, inspiration, and brought positive changes to our son and family. They fought for us and did not settle for anything less than what our child and family were entitled to. As soon as they became involved with our family, the district staff and personnel changed their attitudes completely. Our son is doing well in his new school and at home and our entire family dynamic has changed for the better.
