Top notch family law attorney. Did a wonderful job securing my interest across the entire divorce and child custody process. Curt and his staff were a wealth of knowledge about the process and were able to answer all questions and gave superb counsel at all stages of the proceedings. Successfully dealt with multiple attempts by the adversary twist the process in favor of my ex. 5 star rating from start to finish.

To find a Middlesex County attorney I searched the internet to find someone with (a) 20+ years experience in the county, (b) an author in law journals, and (c) an instructor at a law school or law seminars. I then interviewed multiple attorneys and chose Curt primarily because (a) he genuinely listened to my concerns and (b) he provided a general plan designed to meet not only my end goals but also to have the divorce process conducted in the non-confrontational manner I desired. After our initial meeting we had numerous meetings both in his office and via phone. He quickly responded to my phone calls and emails throughout the entire process. My ex-wife's counsel was often aggressive during the negotiation process by presenting custody, visitation and financial terms which were completely unacceptable to me. Each time Curt successfully refocused the discussion to the facts of the case and case law applicable to our situation. It was clear to me Curt controlled these meetings. My case was resolved moments before the trial was about to begin. The terms of the agreement were basically the terms I told Curt I wanted during our initial meeting. I attribute this success to Curt's extensive experience, knowledge of both written law and case histories, and interactive/communication skills. In retrospect I was blessed to have had Curt represent me. If you are seeking counsel I urge you to sit with Curt and evaluate him. Then compare that meeting with the meeting you had with your other prospective choices. I suspect your decision for representation will then be very easy.

After half a dozen initial consults, from local recommendations to law school professors, to heads of major firms, all fell short in knowledge of what I had already researched to be the leading case law for our family. Across New Jersey and 1 into New York, I was finally blessed to have found Curtis Romanowski. He was an anchor in a difficult storm. Curt Romanowski is absolutely the best lawyer in New Jersey hands down. There is no one like him and I can almost bet my life if he's up against your ex's lawyer he will win by far. Curt was spectacular during my divorce experience 10 years ago. Not knowing what was going to happen and the process, he walked me thru it every step of the way.
