May 28th was my last day of work due to my lungs, when you are no longer working because of an illness you don't want one of your concerns to be money.. You hear of the nightmares of applying for social security benefits and the time it takes to be approved for benefits, so I figured this was one more hurdle to overcome. Kathleen made this process very easy and turned this potential nightmare into one less issue I had to deal with, I started to file in July. August 2nd SSI received all the paperwork.
