After posting my review I received a letter from Robert Tarver threatening to take all measure necessary to remedy this action if I do not remove, according to him, the defamatory review. I feel like this letter was intended to intimidate and to bully me. So Robert Tarver wants me to pull back the review which I stated his bill was fraudulent. I will remove the word fraudulent but I will give you the facts so that you can decide. I met him at his office in June 2016 and paid him 3000 because the agreement we had was for him to prepare documentation to assist me to get accommodations in a building that was making me sick. I told him that I had just paid $6,000 to another lawyer who did absolutely nothing with my case and I had to see some action on his part before he gets the rest of the retainer. Over the summer I did not hear back from him at all and even another teacher who I referred to him called me saying he was MIA after she paid him the full retainer. I was assisting her to locate him by reaching out to the woman who referred him to us. So think about it...would you as a client pay the rest of the retainer if you were told that he was not providing services to another client who paid him in full? Would you give your money to someone who was MIA? My emails and phone data show I did not receive any communication from Robert Tarver. She said when she told him she had the money he conveniently met with her but after that she would reach out and not get any response. The Ethics Review Board claimed that I did not pay the full retainer. Did they even reach out to her to get her side of the story after I told them she requested a complaint form from the Ethics Review Board but she never received it in the mail? She also sent a letter to Robert Tarver terminating his services. I reached out to Mr. Tarver when I realized I had to return to the same building in September and I inquired about the letter he was suppose to send on my behalf in June. He responded that he needed to check with his paralegal to see if she sent out the letter. This was months later. He told me not to worry about money at the present time but that he would continue to pursue my case. I still never got a response in regards to if the letter was sent out back in June. In September of 2016 he text me stating that he needed to send my complaint to the defendant and that he needed to take some other action regarding the building that was making me sick. Why would he discuss doing anything regarding my case in September when I didn't hear from him in July and August and when he claimed he was waiting for the rest of the retainer? After seeing that he produced no results for that teacher this is when I decided not to give him the rest of the money and I requested an itemized bill for the amount that I already gave him. He never responded to any of my emails or my letter that was sent to his office in October 2016 terminating his services. After not receiving a response this is when I made a complaint to the Ethics Review Board. After the complaint was submitted, months went by and finally in March 2017 the Review Board forwarded to me documentation from him, which included an itemized bill for reviewing my documents that I sent him and also a document that he claimed he drafted on my behalf. Is it customary for lawyers to not provide an itemized bill to clients when it is requested? Is it customary for lawyers to not share documents that they draft on your behalf? How is that professional? His client even told me that she knew he was not reading her emails because the few times they spoke he did not seem to be following what was going on and she was tired of repeating information she already sent him. So apparently I am not the only one with the same complaint.

I have gone through hell and high water, and this man has proven to be methodical in his approach to handling not 1 but 2 of my cases. He has shown me by his actions to be for winning my case and doing whats best for me, not just getting my money, working for/with the prosecutor and clearing his caseload. He knows everyone in the system, personally or through affiliation, exactly what you need in a grey Justice System. For reference one case was criminal and he did his best, and it eventually went our way to a dismissal, the second case was a civil case and again through know-how and action he won a favorable outcome. These days you can't trust your lawyer with your future, but i did with ROBERT TARVER JR. And it paid off!

Robert L. Tarver, Jr., Esq. represented me and my sister in a civil matter and did an outstanding job!!!!. He was very knowledgeable and well prepared at each and every court proceeding. As a result of his diligence and perseverance, the matter was subsequently dismissed against us. Also, I referred various people, who were in need of a criminal defense attorney, to Mr. Tarver and he performed equally as well for them. They were all very pleased with the way he handled their matters and their outcomes. Robert. L. Tarver, Jr., Esq. is an excellent attorney!!! He is very capable and highly qualified to handle cases in the civil and criminal arenas!!!! Any time I am in need of a lawyer, Robert L. Tarver, Esq. is the attorney for me!!!

If it was not for Mr. Tarver I would have definately been railroaded! Im a former police officer who had bad accusations against me, Mr. Tarver took time to analyze the playing field of my preceedings and told me what was going to happen before it happened(good and bad). Mr. Tarver handled my case with honor, after my first crooked lawyer irreparably damaged my case.If I had a complaint, it would be that Mr. Tarver takes his time(snails pace) and waits out some situations to his benefit. Sometimes as a defendant that can be nerve racking, but IT WORKS!! So im not gonna complain. I will say this, after dealing with a couple of lawyers in my lifetime for different reasons, he's the only one I can say, I TRUST. I hooe this helps someone.
