Sam has been a grievous disappointment. During our initial interview November 13 2020, yes 2020, Sam assured us that he would get my boyfriend the health benefits he earned during 15 years as a career firefighter. We're still waiting. Sam rarely responds to e-mails and has been unavailable at the times he has asked Mike to phone about his case.

I hired Mr. Gaylord to represent me for my Ordinary Disability retirement case and also Social Security Disability case. He was very attentive and assisted me in all the tasks needed to move my case along as quickly as possible. Whenever there was an issue, he was quick to reply and fixed the situation. He has been successful in winning my case for my Disability retirement and Social Security disability. I highly recommend Mr. Gaylord as an attorney and will be using him in the future.

For me, even 1 star is too many. I see all these positive reviews, but in my experience, Sam was extremely unprofessional and unreliable. I hired him and during our first meeting, he sounded very promising, but then I never heard from him for 2 months afterwards despite repeated attempts on my part to get in touch. He missed an important meeting between me and the other party that he needed to be there for. I contacted him repeatedly to give him the heads up about it for a couple of weeks beforehand. He emailed me the night before the meeting saying he’d call shortly and he never did. Out of the blue a few months later after this was all said and done, he emailed me to schedule a call to follow up about the case. I replied that I couldn’t pursue the case further as a result of all of the above, and I never heard from him since. Sam never once apologized nor acknowledged the fact that he completely disrespected me and wasted my time.

Sam is great. I remember when I was denied Accidental and awarded Ordinary. I felt like I was destroyed. I felt defeated and did not know what to do. My Workers Comp Lawyer told me that was good, but it seemed like that was to his benefit. I googled Pension Lawyers in NJ, and right away Sam Gaylord popped up. I seen his YouTube videos and felt his energy. I reached out and he listened to my story and believed in my case. He guided me on how to appeal the decision and we did. Went through the process and it was a success! I advise everyone I know with similar issues to seek Sam’s advice.
