As a young woman, I knew very little about the judicial system. Melissa represented me in TWO cases one about child custody and a separate one about a domestic abuse case. Melissa truly listened and sympathized with my situation. She explained every legal procedure thoroughly and always took my feelings and wants into mind when deciding how to approach my case. I met with other lawyer before meeting Melissa who told me to lower my expectations. Melissa fought for what I deserved and was quick to take charge in the courtroom. BUT her special quality is that she will fight for what is right and fair. She is one of the good guys. I'm incredibly grateful and would recommend her to anyone looking for a family court lawyer.
