Mr. Wolfenson has been managing all my real estate transactions for several years now, we have seen some easy and some challenging transactions and every deal has its own complexity within it self, yet I can always count on andy navigating the intricacy of the deal. I highly recommend Andy/Karen and it's growing firm to those who are seeking a professional and helpful law firm to guide you with the best interest at heart.
Looking toward many years of full transactions.
Thanks for all your help and guidance

Andrew has been my attorney for a little over 15 years, which has included my real estate attorney, lawsuit attorney, and divorce attorney, and has done an excellent job on all of them. I have never met such an attentive person and very helpful. I appreciate everything he has done for myself and my family. Susan from New Jersey

Andy was a great help in negotiating the purchase of the Maplewood Grille, then helping us set up an LLC to run it. He was diligent in ensuring that we had considered all the details in the agreements and walked us through all of the necessary steps to get it done. I would definitely recommend him!

I would hesitate to call Andy a lawyer, he is so much more. Always available and providing sane, logical analysis and feedback after understanding your challenges, I only regret I had to move out of NJ. Nevertheless, he continues to be my go to guy for all things legal related to my divorce and children who are still in NJ. Highly recommended!

The front office staff is amazing. Every time when I call or come into the office I'm treated like a valued client. In addition Wolfenson represents me in all of my legal matters for over 10 years and I have no complaints. He takes his time explaining everything to me and always tells me the truth versus a feel good story to make me happy.

While I would enjoy a cheerful attitude when I visit with Mr. Chernoff, I put up with his demeanor, which is mean. I feel safe, and I trust having him prepare my business and personal tax returns. He is knowledgeable but acts like he has to rush me out of his office. There is no pleasantries exchanged. He does give me what I want, a professional service. I feel he would be more successful if he did it CHEERFULLY.
I hope he reads this and benefits. (Hint-reads Dale Carnegie, "How to win friends and INFLUENCE people.

Allow me to preface this review by saying I had begun using this firm in 1988 or thereabouts. Howards father did my income tax for 15 plus years. His father was an extremely competent account with a very pleasant demeanor which kept me coming back year after year. When the father passed away a letter was sent out that his son Howard would be taking over his father’s accounts. For no other reason than he had all my previous returns on file I decided to continue using the firm. After my first yearly visit with Howard approximately 5 years ago I could see he was not his father. He had an air of arrogance that was very unsettling to me but for the once a year 20 minutes or so I had to sit in his office I did my best to ignore his pompous attitude and focus on the business at hand.
This year was the straw that broke the proverbial camel’s back. After spending 25 minutes in his office going over my 2013 taxes which involved some inheritance funds from my parents estate (which he didn’t even have the decency to give his condolences) not that I would have expected it from him, from his father yes. Without getting to involved with specifics, he told me I needed to obtain a letter from the financial institution from which I received the inheritance in question. When I got home I made the call to the institution, the woman I spoke with requested that I check back with my accountant since she was not aware of this type of request and had some further questions. When I spoke to Howard later that same day, he told me and I quote “You are wasting my time, I already told you what you needed!” Let me reiterate this, my wife and I paid him $300.00 for 25 minutes of his “time” to fill out a joint tax return and he had the audacity to raise his voice as if he was scolding a child and told me I was “wasting his time” by asking for clarification on behalf of the financial institution, I hung up on him and retained another accountant. Fortunately for him this conversation was over the phone and not in person. I hope this 100% honest/accurate review was helpful.

We used Mr. Chernoff for sale of our home and had a very good and rather smooth experience all the waythrough the closing. While Mr. Chernoff is not always available himself, his assistant always is. They looked out for our interests and were very prompt in their responses to us and their counterpart.

I hired this CPA to do my taxes because we had relocated during the year and I was concerned I would make a mistake. He under reported our income and deducted our moving expenses where he should not have. As a result, we were audited. He either did not review when we were notified of the inaccuracy or did not agree with his mistakes. Either way he did not correct the mistake which has now led to interest and IRS fees. His responsiveness is also poor. It's unfortunate as he caused the exact thing I was trying to avoid.
