Worked with Taryn for several years through a 'tricky' divorce and a post-divorce motion. I found Taryn (and her supporting team) to be well-researched, very experienced, and clear in her guidance and advice. She frequently provides multiple options, with a perspective on potential range of outcomes, and involves the client in decision-making. I found her to be very down-to-earth and while professional, she is also relatable. In the end, while the process is invariably stressful, emotional, and taxing, Taryn helped me to feel in control, educated me on my options, and helped to avoid major surprises. After the divorce was finalized, Taryn continued to support me and helped to settle (very successfully) a post-divorce motion without having to go to court. Taryn also has a deep bench of experts across a variety of disciplines (private investigators, parenting coordinators, expert attorneys, accountants, etc) who have proven to be invaluable. Highly recommend.

My friend is going through a very difficult divorce with an attorney who has not been an advocate for him, and, indeed, has made things worse as the process as continued. As a result, he decided to call DeTommaso Law Group and was given an appointment only hours after he made the call. In fact, we met directly with Michael DeTomasso in his office, who immediately impressed us. He was warm and welcoming, and spent all the time we needed to answer our questions in a free consultation. He read over the divorce agreement pending as well as the child custody agreement that had been signed. He put us at ease - we had been afraid to switch attorneys because it may look bad, but he said it was common in divorces to switch 3-4 times. He also gave us the confidence to speak frankly with the lawyer we are currently working with and to demand that he stop pandering to the other side, but, instead, fight for the rights of my friend. Most impressive, he wrote a letter for us to send to our attorney free of charge because of the timely situation (close to trial) that my friend was in. He provided the New Jersey child support guidelines and emailed us information without charging us. It was evident that he truly cares for his clients - and even those that haven't even retained him yet. Michael was extremely knowledgable about the law when it came to divorces and family law. He was citing statutes from the top of his head. He will definetly fight for you and your rights. In just a little over an hour, my friend and I were highly impressed by his caring, knowledge, and abilities as a divorce attorney. I highly, highly recommend him.
