I don’t usually do reviews but when I am extremely satisfied with a service. It's only fair I take the time out and give props where it's due. I emailed Scura, Wigfield, etc. and I had the pleasure to be assigned to the awesome Guillermo Gonzalez. I did not know what to expect especially when good lawyers and bad lawyers exist, but man my lawyer is so freaking amazing from beginning to end. Normally I’m the type of person who is impatient and constantly checking things for updates but because Guillermo proved to me over and over that he was so good at his job, it made it easy for me trust him and be patient. There were times when things were dragged out for weeks or months due to the defense attorney. Guillermo would contact me here and there even if there were no further updates. He took time to explain things to me even if it may not have benefited for me to know. I made it clear that I did not want to go to court and he did everything possible for us not to go but the defense was being ridiculous When trial came around I had the ultimate anxiety. He was always transparent with me. He would let me know that we had a strong case but he also kept it real that a jury is unpredictable. He gave me the best trail prep advice which helped massively at trial. I have to give a special shout out to Michael O’Neil, I met him at trial prep and he continued through trial. He really helped me stay calm under pressure while on the stand he smiled at me helped me to keep breathing. I also had the pleasure of meeting John Scura during trial prep as Guillermo’s co-counsel. Throughout the trial I didn’t feel like I just met John or Michael to me it was just more support for me which is just what I needed. During my trial Guillermo was on fire I was thoroughly entertained. His passion for the law shone through in every way. He fought hard right to the end. I said to him win or lose he's an amazing lawyer and I literally have no complaints or critique. He gave everything he had. Though John had a different style I found it entertaining how on his finality after Guillermo argues his point he just stands up calmly and says it’s the law and shrugs his shoulder (like judge obviously it’s an easy decision to rule in our favor) I enjoyed watching this duo during trial they definitely balance each other out. The other law firm sent a Chihuahua to fight a pit bull. I told my family the defense needed the big guns for this and they epically failed. He showed the defense lawyer he's not the one the two nor the three. There were times I wished I could have laughed in court. There were times the other lawyer thought he stuck it to Guillermo but his closing argument which I’m super happy about dispelled everything the other lawyer tried arguing. There were things that the lawyer didn’t even bring up at trial but tried to slide it into his closing statement but Guillermo was ready for him. An exceptional job well done. After reading this review no need to look anywhere else!!!
