Not as expected, as I relied on google reviews to make the choice the wrong choice to pick Laurie to handle my legal matter. I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Laurie. From the start, communication was poor and inconsistent. Despite her promises of being 'responsive' and 'understanding,' I often found myself waiting days for a reply to important questions. When she did respond, the advice was vague and unhelpful. She seemed more interested in billing me than in genuinely helping me through the legal process. I would not recommend their services to anyone going through such a difficult time."

Angela Scafuri, I was referred to her by a retiring attorney. It was the best possible turn of events for me. She listened attentively and non-judgmentally to my issue and to my hesitations. Her responses showed that she immediately understood the issue and me. Angela presented insightful points that I need to know even before we formally began. She tenaciously defended my interests even as I faltered. Low pressure with me but unrelenting aggressive with my Ex. So much so that she was referred to as the “shark”. I knew I needed a lawyer. I didn’t realize I how much I needed a “defender”. Luckily, I had followed the reference to her.

Angela Scafuri is excellent. Any one who is represented by her would feel the same. Any negative commentary is likely from the opposing party which is more evidence of how good she is at her job.

Angela is extremely professional and I am so lucky to have had her as my attorney. It was a long battle but she was always responsive and made sure to always have my best interest in mind!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Laurie regarding a family law lawyer. Her communication skills were abysmal, making it incredibly frustrating to get updates on my case. Despite numerous attempts to contact them, I faced consistent roadblocks, and my concerns were often ignored. To make matters worse, the results of her representation were nothing short of horrible. I had expected a certain level of expertise in family law matters, but unfortunately, the outcome was far from satisfactory. Adding to the frustration, I was denied any form of refund despite the lackluster service and poor results. It's disheartening to see such a lack of accountability for subpar performance. As it was agreed upon in the retainer that she would no longer honor. What's even more concerning is that, after expressing my dissatisfaction, I found myself blocked from their contact number as my calls did not go through, my emails went unanswered and messages were undeliverable. This lack of professionalism and refusal to address concerns only added to the overall negative experience. I would strongly advise anyone considering Laurie to proceed with caution and explore alternative options. My experience left much to be desired, and I hope others can make more informed decisions when seeking legal representation in family law matters. I wish I had known earlier that most of their google reviews are misleading and seem to be paid reviews as her serve and experience was nothing like what others had said in their google reviews.

I regret to leave this review, but my recent experience with Laurie as a family law attorney was nothing short of disappointing. My pursuit of legal counsel during a sensitive and emotionally charged family matter left me feeling utterly let down. From the onset, Laurie exhibited a lack of empathy and understanding towards the emotional turmoil surrounding my case. It was evident that their demeanor lacked the compassion and sensitivity crucially needed in handling family law matters. Instead of offering support and reassurance during this difficult time, the lawyer appeared disinterested and emotionally detached. Communication was another major letdown. Their unresponsiveness and unwillingness to address my concerns or provide updates added to the distress of an already taxing situation. I felt unheard and marginalized throughout the entire process, as if my case was nothing more than a burden. Moreover, Laurie seemed unprepared and unmotivated during our interactions. Their lack of enthusiasm and apparent disinterest in my case made me question their commitment to advocating for my family's best interests. Regrettably, my experience with this lawyer fell far below even the most basic expectations. Their inability to empathize, communicate effectively, and demonstrate genuine concern for my situation was deeply disheartening. In conclusion, I cannot, in good faith, recommend [Lawyer's Name] for anyone seeking emotional support and dedicated legal representation in family law matters. The absence of compassion and willingness to engage with clients' emotional needs makes them ill-suited for handling delicate family issues.

I had been to 3 different attorneys before contacting Angela. This time I was not disappointed, yes the 4th time was the charm Calm, confident, in control, Angela exudes wisdom, experience and tactfulness, and does so in such a compassionate and gracious way. She uses skill, determination and creativity to accomplish your goals, and does so without the use of a sledgehammer! (oh, how refreshing!) Thank you Angela, James Kevin O'Connor

Angela took on a very difficult situation mid-stream which had gone sideways and successfully brought it to a reasonable conclusion. She was willing to jump in and went to work immediately to get everything back on track. Throughout the case Angela showed compassion, patience & understanding with me, and deference to the Court while taking an appropriate demeanor with the adversaries. Angela provided great guidance, would let me vent and then calmly point out our best path to a resolution. Her instincts are good and she handled my case very well. Angela was a pleasure to work with through a difficult time; not sure where I'd be now without her help. Highly recommend.

Angela is very professional and passionate about her job. She has helped me through the most difficult process of my life, her willingness to listen, knowledge of the law and compassion makes her unique. She is thorough and always delivers.

If I could rate Angela Scafuri 0 stars, I would. She performed horribly on my case. She did not have any statements ready when presenting to the judge. She is a liar and will take your retainer fee and basically throw away your case. 0/5 stars.

Angela helped me through an extremely stressful restraining order situation promptly and with compassion. She was extremely attentive to all the details of my case and was always available to listen to my constant worries. She always answered each little issue regarding my case and I was extremely happy with the results! Whenever I mentioned her name to other lawyers or court officials everyone spoke of her with the highest regard and respect! I highly recommend Angela, 10/10 for keeping you stress free and making sure all your needs are met!

I can't say enough good things about Laurie. She handled a relocation for me and my son many moons ago, and she was just as amazing as she is now. She was heaven sent because she was tough when she had to be and thorough with all the paper work. I highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for an attorney that will have their back. She is wonderful.
