I was sold until I called and was told I would be charged up to $300-$525 for a consultation alone. I was also told “with my income I would better off taking the lowest price for a consultation” way to be unprofessional. 👌🏼 I’ll take my case to Michael S. Green who didn’t charge me for a consultation and gave me a flat and honest fee up front.

Please BE WARNED about obtaining services from this law firm for any custody or family case! I have been absolutely ripped off! I hired their services at the beginning of the pandemic and had no choice but to use my income tax money to hire one of their lawyers for my emergency motion to have my child returned to me from another state. My case was denied by a judge right off the bat even after I sent the attorney everything she had requested including text messages between the other parent and I. After having already paid $2,500 and my case was never won. I cannot afford their services anymore because they want to continue to charge like crazy just for a brief telephone call or to fix one or two words on a parental agreement. I stopped their services about four months ago, and they are STILL charging me! They harass me over the phone talking about I owe them now $800 and something when the last time I checked my balance was only around $100 and something. I tried making a payment plan but the man whom I spoke with said he cannot guarantee it. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY and they WILL NOT be getting another dime out of me!! **DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE FOR ANY CUSTODY OR FAMILY CASE**

Beware of Daniel Bernheim. Looks and acts like a nice guy. Gave him 5k retainer and never used it. Had a small claims case and figured rather then ask him for the unused retainer id have him come just to have a lawyer present. He handles company cases and I knew small claims wasn't his thing but really didn't need him anyway. 2 appearances, 2 hours each one. Guess what? The weasel billed me 12k for it. Thought it was clearly a billing error. The case wasn't even for that much. Had the nerve to try and justify it. Do yourself a favor. Somebody that would backdoor you like that for chump change will really get you when real money is involved. He doesn't know the first thing about being a stand up guy. When people talk bad about lawyers, they are referring to weasels like Bernheim. Smile in your face and stab you in the back! You been warned.
