In May of 2021 my family had our vehicle totaled by a driver making an illegal left turn. My wife ended up needing medical care and we had to replace our vehicle. Komal Stiver worked with my wife and I to find a very reasonable settlement. She negotiated with our medical provider to decrease the bill owed and handled all of the correspondence with the insurance company. She was ruthless in her pursuit of getting us the settlement that we wanted and deserved after an accident that was not our fault. Komal also communicated well and often. She explained the process to us as we went, clearly defining every step to us since we had never been in any sort of settlement case before. She was very friendly, and she cared about us as people. Somehow, during the paperwork shuffle, my kids and I hadn't made it into the insurance claim and Komal ensured that the three of us were not only included, but received our portion of a very reasonable claim. As an aside, the reason that we heard about Komal at all was because my wife was sitting in a doctor's office waiting to get medical attention after the accident. Someone in the lobby, a complete stranger, asked my wife, "Were you in an accident?" "Yes, I was," she said. "You should get a lawyer," he said. "Here's my lawyers information. She's the best." During a rough season in the world, my wife and I were extremely thankful to have someone like Komal on our side.
