Amazing Law firm that supported me though an ordeal that from the beginning I thought I was going to cost me a ton of money and time. I was involved in an accident with a drunk driver that was originally believed to have not had insurance and I did not have Un/under-insured coverage on my policy at the time. Adam and Shane were able locate the other driver's coverage and fight to get my daughter and I some compensation. The whole team at this office has constantly been in contact with me and been patient with me when I did not or could not get back to them with necessary information. They always stayed on top of the case to get me positive results which, again, was not something I thought would happen immediately after the accident. Finally, the education and insight I received kept me up to date and ensured that I will not be unprepared and vulnerable again in the future.

Recently made a mistake like we all do, we’re all humans just living and learning. But this is my first time going in-front of a judge and hiring a lawyer and I have to say The Law Office of Adam Oakey have done a tremendous job in making this rough time over and done with as simple and stress free as possible. If you're looking at these reviews to help you decide on a law firm, it's best to keep scrolling in my opinion. I retained this firm for a small estate issue. I'm sure Mr. Turner himself is a good man and competent attorney. I wouldn't really know since the only time I dealt with him was at the initial interview and for 2 minutes on line at a hearing to close the matter.. Unfortunately I had the displeasure of dealing with a paralegal who lacked basic social skills, compassion and was rude and arrogant. I won't go through all the exchanges between her and wherein she was condescending and irritated. I'm sorry I made you repeat yourself twice because I didn't understand. This went on for over a year. After not hearing from their office for a while, in January I was served with an motion to remove their office as counsel. Interesting when they already had a few thousand dollars of my money. When I called the paralegal and inquired her comment was "you were sent an email on November 17 and you did not respond." Now I don't know about anyone else, but certainly, if I send an email and do not get a reply, I either follow up with a phone call or another email to see if they received it - especially you are retained to assist me. Yes, I did get the email in my spam. It wasn't opened until I looked for it while on that January call. In any event, when I asked why wouldn't she follow up if I didn't respond. Her answer was "I'm not here to hold your hand." Geez, if I'm not paying you to help me, guide me and represent me, what am I paying you for? I must be paying you to just push paper and over charge me. This was a simple estate matter. Any first year law student could have pulled up templates and filed papers. I could have done it. Unfortunately the State of NM does not allow you to appear in these matters pro se. Word of advice if you're looking for a estate/real estate attorney - shop around - ask people for referrals and find someone with a flat fee. They are out there and competent. Don't just pick someone based on stars on google or yelp.
