We feel so lucky to have found Treveri Law and most importantly Karin Foster! We had been working with a previous lawyer who "specialized" in Trusts and the first draft of our Trust was riddled with errors and double talk, just horrible. After firing him we fortunately found Karin through a Google search and what a blessing. On first contact by telephone, we talked to the receptionist who was pleasant and helpful. Rather than take Information on helping schedule an initial consult, she let us speak directly to Ms. Karin Foster. We told Ms. Foster we needed a WILL prepared and that we were going to be taking a couple of trips soon and were curious how long it take. She informed us that much was envolved, and dependant on how soon we could provide all the necessary information was key. We were more than pleased with the valuable information and professionalism. My wife was so pleased, when she got off the phone she said this is the one we want. Ms. Foster took us on as clients, and gave us homework for information gathering and started right away. In all, She and her associates got right on it, and a short few weeks we were covered, protected and good to go. We cannot begin to tell you the relief we have, knowing how good a job they did. Karin developed an Estate Planning Portfolio that included end of life documentation such as will, advance directive, power of attorney, etc. We had this done to comply with New Mexico's laws since we just moved from Fl where we had one completed. My wife and I were impressed by her focus on details in developing a comprehensive plan, much more so then one we had in Florida. I would highly recommend her legal acumen in developing a comprehensive plan for the future.

Ms. Karin Foster was not responsive in getting back with me for an initial consult. When she did return my calls (after the fourth or fifth attempt), she was brusque and had a rude tone to her conversation. I have an estate worth more than most, so I believe a Will is a very important legal document to have in place. She also quoted me an hourly rate way above any "normal" attorney would have in this region. She even questioned whether I would get back to her on a timely basis! This was on the first phone call with this lawyer. I try to be measured in my responses, so I just thanked her for her time. No way would I ever put myself in a position to be talked down to by an attorney who obviously is trying to wring as much money out of a new client that she can. She's not even ACTEC certified. There are so many competent estate planning attorneys in ABQ. This one is definitely not for me.

I found Karin Foster to be an excellent source of sound legal advice and she helped me create a very understandable and complete estate plan. This is a difficult thing to navigate and Karin handled our work together with great sensitivity, understanding, and lots of common sense. She has my highest recommendation. Thank you Karin.
