A number of years ago I moved to Albuquerque to manage a large immigration law practice. I was one of Rebecca Kitson Law's biggest competitors. It says a lot about Rebecca (as a person) and her firm that she reached out to introduce herself and welcomed me into the immigration community. Very quickly I learned that her knowledge of immigration law and dedication to her clients, were equal to her impressive character. The University of New Mexico trusts her to teach law students immigration law and her reputation for success across the Southwest is outstanding! When my firm was not able to accept a case, I sent people to Rebecca. When my caseload was at full capacity and a case was too complicated for my associates, I sent people to Rebecca. When someone could benefit from a local relationship with immigration officials, I sent people to Rebecca. Why? Because she is one of the best immigration attorneys (and people) I have ever met. Nearly 10 years later, we now formally collaborate. Although some might see this review as slanted, they shouldn't. As a sworn officer of the court, I take my published statements very seriously. The highest compliment - when a competitor turns into a fan. Many years of successful competition grew into mutual respect for each other's work. The bottom line: I'm Rebecca Kitson Law's biggest fan and I know you will be too.

I usually do not leave reviews, but would love to share my amazing story with you. I applied for my parents immigrant visa in 2017 with Rebecca Kitson Law Firm. Because of first travel ban executive order, my parents got their visa interviews in Feb 2020. In past 3 years I didn’t loose my hope because of Laura and Elise Payette regularly following up. Finally they got their visas 6 months ago, but because of Covid-19 they couldn’t travel to U.S. till last week before their visas get expired. They got couple tickets but 5 hours before departure, they got phone call from airline and told them because of new travel ban executive order, you are not allowed to travel to U.S. just citizens and green card holders can travel. Right away I called Elise and explained the situation. She promised me to do her best to help us. Elise and Roxie wrote an awesome waiver to CBP and asked them to let my parents in. I was disappointed and there was no chance they can get approved, but because of their effort and high responsibility, we got that waiver.
