Where do I start? Honestly if there was -5 stars that's exactly what I would give this law firm. I originally reached out to them to resolve a custody issue and fight an unethically placed restraining order. When my ex violated the restraining order and came and saw me (and I had video footage) the evidence was misfiled, and so my ex received custody of my daughter until mediation/trial. My lawyer was also not able to fight the unethical decision that the court placed on me, as an African American Muslim, in assuming that I could kidnap my daughter and flee the country (even though I'm a born American) and so mandated that I also have supervised visits with my daughter until our mediation/trial. Almost $15K in lawyer fees later, and we're still going to trial. My lawyer was only reactionary, if even that, and lacked the creativity or willingness to even fight my fight. Now I have to face this alone, because they dropped me because I couldn't pay anymore and nothing has been resolved for me. Good fathers, minority fathers, I certainly don't recommend this firm.

Very professional. My attorney was on top of everything. Was never judgemental, and really offered the best advice. Very prompt on sending my documents to be filed. A great experience. Will use them again. Thank you Joseph, and Amanda. 👍🏽

Cordell and Cordell accomplished nothing for me but wasted 4 months of my life. Joseph Gonzales repeatedly told me that I could not get meditation. After four months of being told that and being billed, the opposing counsel notified him that he was asking the wrong thing. On top of that Joseph tried to place some blame on me implying I was being told the same thing, however I never called the court because that’s what I hired this overpriced attorney for. When I raised concerned I was told I was recieving the best service I could get. Then the client care department pressured me into a deal I wasn’t comfortable with by basically telling me take it or leave it but if I fired them I’d get nothing. Don’t listen to these people or hire there them if you’re interested in getting anything at all for your money

Response are quick; they empathize with your situation and make you feel they comfortable to discuss your concerns and you can tell they do their homework and research to defend your conditions

I went in initially to get preliminary advice, and found Camille to be an unreservedly helpful initial adviser, even in a basic consultation visit. We went to mediation, but I remembered from Camille to have the document reviewed independently, so I went back to Cordell for that service. Even the mediation document "required" it. I was so glad I did. My assigned attorney, Meagan, was prepared and redlined my settlement agreement as we talked. Talk about making real-time efficiency of some really expensive time. She was well worth it, and I finally felt like I was getting candid real answers, and it became apparent the "mediator" was really in it for the female side. Meagan even gave me the correct wording that she advised against, but that I wanted to propose. (That part was rejected, shortsightedly, I felt, by my pending ex.) The redlines also made one negotiation point that resulted in my walking away with $400 per month more in my pension than I would have. Mainly though, I just wanted the real truth, and I felt I got that, finally; IE: "Why are they saying to do a Special Warranty Deed, which exposes you to some ongoing liability, when you should just do a simple Quitclaim Deed?" (redline on-the-spot). I can see how reviews would be mixed in such a highly charged arena. Sometimes the reality of the situation isn't what people want to know, but since that is all I wanted, I felt I got it. Expensive, relatively, but they all are (as was the worthless mediator), and in this case I'll make it back 5 fold in a year as a result of heeding the good advice I got here.

I am pro-se because I have no money. My husband is using this firm and they refuse to answer my questions and told me they have no obligation to me. My husband refuses to give his whole discovey( pay stubs & bank statements) but before they requested my Discovery they actually subpoenaed my job for pay records. They are letting their client stahl but are refusing to amswer my quejstions and threaten me....... They even threated me paying for his attorney fees. If I had money I would hire my own attorney. These guy are BULLYS!!!
