Worst attorney I've ever dealt with, I went 8 months without seeing my daughter she never filed for an emergency hearing so that I would have visitation, also after first court hearing she allowed the other partys attorney to write the orders which were full of irregularities..her staff was also very unprofessional.

Mrs. Castillo herself was on fire during court. I never had to say anything she did all the talking. Yes i did only meet with her i think maybe twice, but when the court days would come around, her and i would sit and talk for a good while, professional, yes she is. She did explain to me the pros and cons of what i was asking for. The most important thing is that my kids are back home where they belong. Now her staff on the other hand, at the begining was terrible, i could never speak to Mrs. Castillo directly and i was having to find out every court date on my own ecxept maybe one time her receptionist called me, but once i was finally able to talk to Mrs. Castillo, and explained about her staff, thats when i started to see the changes. All in all, Mrs. Castillo as an attorney YES i would, and i have recomended her to friends and family members. She goes hard in the courtroom and makes it happen, or for me at least she did... Laura was excellent in my case! For anybody giving poor reviews I have to say if she can't get you what you want then you must not have had much grounds for what you were requesting. Ms. Castillo was a beast in the courtroom. I would highly recommend her. She is worth every penny. I couldn't thank her enough for bringing my baby girl home to me. I got everything I wanted and needed. She is most definitely professional with A1 service.

Worst experience ever, its so frustrating how i had to take of days from work to go to the appointment yet her staff was very unprofessional, they cancelled my appointment more than 3 times only few minutes before the actual appointment. I do not recommend Laura Castillo for your family case! personal experience.

WARNING! BEWARE! READ FULL REVIEW! There is little to no knowledge as to what's even going on in my case and nothing is worth dealing with her nasty, unprofessional staff. The communication is awful and when I tried to find ANYTHING out after months of waiting for the call they kept saying I would receive "the next day", I got excuses as to why they didnt have to call me and then her staff hung up on me in a really disrespectful way. I called back to let her know that was not okay and that I would be talking to Mrs. Castillo about what just happened and she says "uh huh" and hangs up on me again! The disrespect here is incredible for how expensive she is. Keep in mind I was not being nasty to this lady I was just asking questions about my case. UPDATE: About half a year later and I'm still stuck exactly where I am. I go in frequently so I'm not hung up on and hear "I don't have anything here" as if they have never even heard of my case and then a "I will get with her and call you tomorrow". ...and I wait... and wait... for a call that never comes... until I go in again... and it happens all over again. It's a vicious cycle that never goes anywhere and never once have I heard from her. Also, I paid them in full because they said they would not release my papers to me until I did and after I paid they told me they didnt even have them. Waited months before finally going in and asking if anythinh happened and was told "oh we have your paper, here". I needed those papers to get my name back. Giving it more time and then going to the BBB and finding a new lawyer. Don't know what to do now except regret my choice in lawyer. LAST UPDATE: So on top of my horrible experience with this lawyer I have now found out she did not file my papers correctly and am having to pay a new lawyer thousands to fix what she may or may not have done by mistake! The new lawyer could not believe the incompetence of what he was seeing. There is no excuse for this. Not only did I not get anything fixed by using Ms. Castillo, I am actually thousands behind for it! I paid her to do this! I would have been better off going to court on my own. There is more, but I will leave it at this... Go here if you want the OPPOSING side to leave her a 5 star review as is what happened in my case... and I can see why!
