I went with this law firm based on a recommendation from another lawyer in Santa Fe. I wish I could take that decision back. The communication was terrible, and they charged way too much money, for just reading email, they strung things out, and were not representing, and had a lot of excuses. Everything you do not want in a law firm. If you want to spend a lot of money, and get absolutely nothing, then go with these people.

I would like to offer a shining review of the attorney, Julie Wittenberger of Cuddy & McCarthy Law Firm. Julie was my third attorney in a divorced that included domestic violence and child abuse. Julie is a top-notch attorney. She not only has impeccable knowledge of the Family Court System and Family Court Services, but she possesses compassion. She is level-headed and very skilled in the courtroom. I cannot speak highly enough about Julie and her team at Cuddy McCarthy. If your divorce is complicated and high conflict, then Julie Wittenberger Is the attorney for you.

I got scammed by a "foreclosure protection" company that I heard advertised on the radio a while back. I was referred to HWH (David Humphreys) by another lawyer in town but I was so skeptical at first. I was put at ease after speaking to Mr. Humphreys because he expressed concern and understanding. I worked with HWH to get my case started, and by "worked" I mean I just sent them every email I had in regards to this company and spoke to them on the phone twice. It was a mess but they organized everything. Mr. Humphreys sent me the documents to sign and his office did the rest. He kept me informed on the progress/status of my case and fought for me. I was so please with the outcome and so grateful for Mr. Humphreys and HWH for helping me get my money back.

I have heard so often that lawyers aren't worth what they charge. And so it was with reluctance that I called Slate. My experience was quite the opposite. With skill, patience, understanding and no nonsense, he communicated with my client. And although he is himself, is compassionate and caring, his communication with the client didn't leave me wondering whether we were being too nice. He was brilliant and my matter was resolved quickly and for a reasonable amount. Well worth the money.
