I Hired Joe to represent me for two tickets I plead guilty to not knowing that the outcome would be losing my license. After a year of going without a license Joe filed motions and worked with district attorneys to change the original plea of guilty and have the other charge dismissed completely. He pulled this all of in a very timely manner as this happened during COVID any many courts weren’t open. He was upfront with the chances of outcome right from the start. Highly recommend to anyone seeking great,honest legal representation.

I can't praise Attorney Gerstenzang enough for the way he handled my son's DWI case in NY several years ago. He's knowledgeable, personable, honest, and extremely competent. We're from MA, and I greatly appreciated his ability to communicate by phone, email, and text in a timely manner. I was arrested over the labor day weekend of 2018. On Sunday the 2d of September I received a call back from Joe Gerstenzang whom was obviously taking time away from his Family and holiday weekend. Joe spoke to me in laymen terms, explained in detail all potential aspects of my situations, without once asking for retainer. He was supportive and understanding, during a time when I firmly believed that my life as I knew it was no longer going to be pleasant. He took the time the time to reassure me that things would return to normal and that I really was not the bad guy I thought I had become. Joe spent no less than 1 hour with me on the phone, not once wavering his support for my cause. We met in the next few days where Joe continued his moral support and we discussed how we should proceed. Everything discussed about the court and my possibilities for conclusion to the case was supported by fact and experience. He coordinated an earlier court date and walked me through the experience. My case began on 31 Aug and came to finality on 18 Nov. I hope I never have to use Joe again except for advise. I placed myself in a bad position but Joe's experience, confidence, counsel and overall bedside manner put myself and my Family at ease. He gave me a confidence that I otherwise did not have. Recommend Joe and the law firm everyday and twice on Sunday.

After blowing a .09 at a DUI checkpoint, I found myself in a precarious legal situation because I had been convicted of DWAI in 2013, just within 5 years of the second arrest. Given this, two lawyers I had spoken to essentially told me I was SOL due to the prior conviction. By the time Joe took on my case, I had accepted that I would have a criminal record, in addition to losing my license with no opportunity for a conditional or hardship license for work. To my utter disbelief, Joe not only managed to get the DUI charge reduced to DWAI, but also finagled a deal where I could maintain my full driving privileges until our next court appearance two months later so I could finish out the remainder of my contractual job. This was beyond what I thought possible since I had a prior conviction, especially when two other DUI lawyers told me my case was relatively hopeless. I cannot thank him enough for what he has done for me, my case, my job and my life, and will confidently say there is no better lawyer than Joe Gerstenzang if you find yourself with a DUI.
