I had gone to an advance screening of "The Burial" with Jamie Fox and Tommy Lee Jones. It is a David versus Goliath movie, which gave me hope that justice can prevail. I felt like Tommy, at a loss, and not knowing to do. This law student, who just pased the bar exam. He was looking for the opportunity to help Tommy. I felt my fate was to spend my last 4 years being harassed and denied opportunities based on my ethnicity. When I received a call back yesterday, I was overwhelmed by the intake person and her kindness , that I felt hope.
