They assisted me with a medical malpractice and wrongful death issue. The plus side is they use a doctor to review the case instead of just their lawyers. Having dealt with many lawyers on this issue, I would recommend them on that fact alone. I gave only three stars because they were unable to return my gig stick with my father in laws medical imaging records back to me. I am updating this review to 5 stars as they did something most other businesses do not do, that being make good on their claim to want to rectify an issue. You see many places respond to any less than favorable google review with the usual copy and paste customer service response, but this firm meant what they said and acted accordingly.

I have worked with Girvin and Ferlazzo for the past 5 years as a superintendent of schools. Jay Girvin is our lead counsel and is fantastic. He is personable, always accessible, an extremely hard worker, and has a profound knowledge of the law. Jay always has the best interest of our students and district in mind when helping us navigate legal matters. Another significant strength of G & F is that they always have a host of attorneys available who specialize in different legal matters. If Jay feels one of his associates is better equipped to resolve an issue, he won't hesitate to involve them. All the associates and partners are personable and professional.

Confused as to why even though I am the one taking care of my husband's account, they've gotten permission from him to speak with me, I'm actually the only one they've ever spoken to, they call my phone even though I've never given them my number directly, that I get hung up on when I try to call them back and give them what they want.

My family has relied on this practice to explain, recommend and hand hold us through the numerous and confusing obstacles faced as our parents age. Contacted Bill’s office regarding a trust and made an appointment. The woman who answered the phone advised it would be a $375 consultation fee. Ok, no problem. Arrived to the appointment, waiting… Bill is approximately 20 minutes late. No explanation, no apology. I get it that things come up and happen. Consultation seemed quite productive. Bill stated he was going to do A, B, and C. Cut him a check for his fee right then and there. Several days go by and nothing back from him. Saw that he cashed the check on the bank’s website. Multiple phone calls/messages to his office and nothing. This guy completely ghosted us. Zero professionalism!

Bill and Jean are easy to work with, friendly, and efficient. We hired Bill to redo our wills and other end-of-life arrangements. Bill was extremely helpful in explaining changes in the law and making suggestions. We were referred to Bill by our financial advisor and we're very glad that we followed this recommendation. They were reasonably priced compared to the law firm we used previously.
