Mr. Szaniawski reviewed a contract between myself and a large publishing house for two fiction books. He highlighted areas where the contract language did not support my best interests or could be interpreted differently than the verbal agreement reached between my agent and the publishing company. He then drafted alternative language that made my intended rights more clear. He was meticulous and went word by word, line by line through the document to insure that the deal I understood was the deal that I signed. I feel much more confident having sought his counsel. Thanks to him, I also have a better understanding of my responsibilities in the agreement and where future problems could arise.
