I hired Dick for a Federal Court matter and he came highly recommended by several of my friends. I was extremely nervous when i went into his office as I've never needed a Lawyer before. He immediatly calmed my fears and made me feel very welcome. He was very kind and very friendly. He explained the law to me in plain language and never made me feel uncomfortable or looked down upon me. Dick was so patient with me and even had his secretary put money in my meter on Court Street free of charge. His fee was also very reasonable considering he had to go to Syracuse with me on my case. The hearing Officer showed a great deal of respect to myself and Mr Gunger. I could not be happier with tbe services i received from his Office. He was so bonest and kind to me and fought very hard to get the exact result that I wanted. If your're in need a a great Lawyer who will fight for you Dick Gunger is your Man.

I have known attorney Dick Gunger for over 20 years. As a fellow attorney, I highly recommend him. He is a diligent, knowledgeable and skilled lawyer. I have seen firsthand the quality representation he provides each of his clients. He is one of the best.

He was absolutely the worst attorney I've ever had the misfortune of meeting. I met with him and all he wanted to do was sit there and rave about how wonderful an attorney he was but as it turned out he was anything but. I paid for him to handle a matter for my daughter and he continuously adjourned court and tried to overcharge us. I took a day off so that I could attend court with my daughter and at the very last minute, the morning of court, he had his secretary call to tell me that he had an emergency. It seemed that anytime I called the office he was never there. I was told that he was sick or had an emergency or 1 million other excuses as to why I could never get him on the phone. It was absolutely ridiculous. I found his behavior to be extremely unprofessional and realized that he could care less about the issues that my daughter had. He wanted to take her money and do as little work as possible. As far as I'm concerned I wouldn't refer him to my worst enemy. I normally don't leave reviews because I can't be bothered but in this case, I felt that the public needed to be aware that they were not going to get what you pay for. Not by a long shot! If I could leave zero stars I would. Horrible!
