I am so glad I chose Matt Chalanick to help me in finding a new home and selling my home. Looking to downsize, I found Matt’s knowledge of the local housing market to be exceptional. He knew what I was looking for and found me a lovely cape in a quiet neighborhood. A buyer for my house within a short time on the market with a quick close. All in a week’s timeframe I closed on my new house and the house I was leaving. From the listing of my home to the viewing of potential new homes, to the offers and acceptance on both homes all went smoothly and professionally. After six unsuccessful months trying to sell our house with another local agency, we switched to Matt and The Real Estate Agency. What a difference in professionalism, and knowledge of how to photograph, market and list a property! Even though everyone always says "you can't sell a house in Winter", they were proven wrong as Matt had us an offer in less than 30 days after taking over the listing! He guided us through the negotiation phase and we closed shortly thereafter. We've bought and sold several properties over the years and were truly impressed with Matt, and strongly recommend using him if ever you need a real estate agent!

We had listed our home with another realtor for several months and had got little or no movement on it at all. By this time we had moved out of state and were now making 2 mortgages, utility payments,insurance, etc. I had asked a friend if they knew anyone we could try and was given Matt's name! He was our knight in shining armor! Just at the right time as well as it was getting a little tight on the budget. He got started immediately and took new professional photos and got the house listed. In a little over a week Matt came to us with a cash offer and we were able to close in a few weeks! Matt was able to get everything done over the computer or by Fedex and we did not have to come back to NY for the closing. He is very professional and knows what he is doing, I would refer him to anyone!

Buying and selling a house can be difficult but we were lucky enough to have Matt as our agent. He went above and beyond to help us find our new perfect home. Our criteria was not that of a an average buyer and Matt assured us he would find the "one" for us. He did just that. In 2017 Matt helped us buy our first home in 2019 Matt helped us sell the same home to which we profited from.
