Iv been battling custody for my daughter Moriah for years on my own! Unfortunately was getting nowhere no matter how much I knew! The past 4 years have been the hardest Until the day I called Susan to be my Attorney! Explained my case and Susan immediately started to get to work! The first court date we had Susan was able to fight for my rights as a father and was able to see my daughter again! That was a very emotional day! Just to see my princess again ment the world to me! Was able to see my daughter every other weekend! That was goin great, 3 months later Susan helped me to get my daughter to Virginia and have out of state visits! I never thought in a million years that would happen! Susan made my dream come true by having my daughter in Virginia with me! One again an emotional great day! Now my daughter wants to go to school here in Virginia! I’m So Grateful to have Susan as my Attorney! I wished I hired her 20 years ago! Susan made things happen I never thought I would ever see! She stands for her clients and Awesome at Communicating! And Aggressive in the court room to fight for you! She don’t take no bull from anyone! Susan is a Real Super Hero! I had the hardest time finding a lawyer. Attorney Betzjitomir took my case and she was amazing. She was strong and firm in her presentation with compassion for everyone involved. Amazing lawyer.

Susan has been our attorney since 2008 and is exceptional. She managed a messy divorce, helped defend our son in an unfortunate criminal case, and most recently helped with closing of our dream property. Her dedication and thoroughness also saved us from almost purchasing property that had all of the mineral rights leased despite the seller and real estate agent claiming that all the rights conveyed. She is tenacious and aggressive when necessary but is wonderful and understanding and very professional. We have recommended her to many friends and will continue to do so.

Before Susan, I had a public defender who did not care to help me at all. I looked like a complete idiot. My children were taken away from me and it should not have even happened. She took on my complex case that goes back years to help me; and told me I wasn’t getting what I deserved. My life changed that day I met her. I was not being seen or heard and was rapidly losing more and more hope. We started trial the following week. I am and will be forever grateful and thankful I met her. I didn’t stand a chance without her. She is worth every penny. I don’t even know what the outcome will be as I’m writing this review and I still would pay the entire fee over again. Susan handled my case of driving a atv without an interlock device quickly and professionally,My case was thrown out so impressed by the job she did!!!!!I recommend anyone looking for a good lawyer and a truly good person to call Susan.

This is the first review I have ever written. After reading some of the bad reviews I felt like I had to. With the representation my wife and I received from Susan and her staff I would have paid her 5 times what she charged. We have not one complaint and recommend her to anyone that ask about representation. She kept our grand kids safe through out the whole process. She was our 5th lawyer over the years and by far, not even close, the best!! I would never go with any other lawyer after my experience with her and I think God everyday that we walked into her office. Thanks again Susan!!!!

Susan has been professional, truly well-versed, and always quick with an intelligible response. My husband and I both look to her as our first point of contact with any legal concern we have, whether it be personal or business; she always has an excellent plan / path for solid legal advice. We highly recommend her for any legal issue.

About 8 years ago, I hired Attorney Betzjitomir to represent me in a dispute about my property with my local town. All I wanted was to live in peace and harmony, go to work, pay my taxes and just be happy - however my local town refused to grant me my Certificate of Occupancy on my home, which Susan was able to get for me in 1 meeting with the towns attorney --- She only charged me a retainer, and an hourly fee for her services. I will say --- the whole process of "the paperwork" getting filed in a timely manner -- kind of irritated me (that's why I gave only 4 out of 5 stars) --- BUT YOU KNOW what??? I actually didn't blame Susan, instead I filed a grievance against "Tom" the opposing attorney --- a grievance which actually got thrown out, as NYS bar association informed me that the "grievance process" was only set up for your attorney and NOT the opposing attorney (even though, in my humble opinion, it was the opposing attorney who dragged his feet on the paperwork) -- nevertheless Susan didn't give me any BS when representing me, and of course, I irritated her a few times also during the process ((since I didn't want to compromise 1 single inch with my local town)) ---- hey, I was on the side of "being right" ---- I suppose that's why the town caved in and granted my request for me to live happily in my own home, without being harassed by them. So far, so good, and my life has been peaceful ever since. Sure, this is not an earth shattering case, like a divorce that messes your life up, or being thrown in jail, or the other cases she has ----- BUT TO ME, at the time, it was my whole life invested in a house, with a local town threatening to evict me without due process. Love her or hate her, she muses about her reviews ---- well folks, I'm in the "love her" category. I was looking to see if she was still practicing law, because after 8 years, I still decided, if I need a lawyer I can trust, who would I call?? I would call Susan Betzjitomir, I can still write a review, I did write this review, and no, I'm not even in trouble, nor do I foresee any trouble.

Atty. Betzjitomir was excellent in resolving my case. She acted concisely, and really made sure that my rights were protected, that the settlement to which I was already entitled was finally paid over. I had a different atty. before her, who did nothing to get my settlement even after a court awarded it and the other party wouldn't pay it. When Atty. Betzjitomir stepped in, it was resolved. She did what was necessary to take care of everything.

Susan is by far the best legal representation I have ever had. You actually feel like your situation matters, and not just one of a thousand cases on the desk. She has gone out of her way to reach out to me just to see how it’s going, and if there is anything that she needs to know about. She also has gone out of her way to respond diligently anytime I needed her help.

She represented me in divorce and her actions showed she was more interested in writing books, being on tv, hosting a radio program and now appearing at a public forum....get your priorities straight if you’re going to help your clients win instead of trying to be famous....

I met Susan in court when she was not my attorney. After watching me take a beating, she offered her professional opinion on my case. (she saw me in court 2 times prior) Thank god I retained her services. Her honesty and understanding of my legal rights was priceless and saved me time and money. I highly recommend her services. She is fair and always had my back and when I needed guidance, she was spot on as to what her thought was but ultimately she left it up to me. That is all one can ask for is a lawyer to be by their side and a voice of reason because the process is long and stressful. I will always use her legal services going forward.
