These folks are really rude and with an attitude. Someone named George answered my call about my situation where I was assaulted on the street and my knee was injured. George advised me to come in for a consultation. I was told by Andrew Siben at the consultation that I don't have a case. Fine. They apparently don't handle assault cases because they don't know if the perpetrator can afford to pay. That's fine. Could they not have told me this on the phone? Andrew told me that I have no proof that I have a pre existing condition on my knee although I have an Xray, told me that there is no doctor that would claim that the assault aggravated this condition, which I didn't even realize I had before the assault, although I have a doctor that has specifically claimed that the assault did in fact cause further damage and Andrew also claimed that the assaulter could claim that I assaulted him although there is a police report from the arrest and the arresting officer has told me that no such counter claim was made. The incident happened 5 months ago. I called back to voice the complaint that the consultation should have been on the phone to save me the trip to their office and was told by the lady that answered that she was surprised that it wasn't because they are doing phone consultations because of Covid. A lady then called be back whose last name is also Siben and she claimed that her father started the business 87 years ago and they are the most respected law firm on Long Island. This person would not let me get a word in, talked over me several times and then hung up on me. These folks are really rude, think nothing of having people make trips to their office just to make short shrift of them. I have no issue with them telling me that they don't want my case. But why not save people the effort of driving to their office rather than a discussion on the phone? And why the attitude? Nasty, arrogant people.

I received real great advice from this law firm I would recommend to anyone in need of a good attorney.
