If I'm being honest, I was unsure of what kind of representation I would get from a court appointed attorney. And although my particular situation was one that did not have a clear defense or strategy, Jake went above and beyond to present me with a defense that we could not only use, but effectively get the results I was looking for. He's dedicated, determined, and eager to present the facts, while being compassionate, and very knowledgeable in his field! I would recommend him to anyone who needs a Family Law Attorney! I Thank God I did not loose my kids to a crazy ex and her lying family. Did not even get to take the stand or present the mountain of evidence gathered because so many of her lies where uncovered during her cross examination by Jake Buckland. My kids no longer have to be under the same roof as a sex offender and the people who tried to cover up what he did while giving him access to more children to harm. My children at that. Should also mention as a parent in distress for the safety of his kids I gave Jake a hard time because of how slow the wheels of justice turn. But he was very patient with me through the process

I worked with Jake for a matrimonial matter, which was somewhat complicated for a variety of reasons. He took the time to meet with and we spoke on the phone several times throughout the course of the proceedings. Each time Jake was professional and straight forward. I was pleased with the outcome and couldn't have asked for a better disposition. Thanks Jake!

Initially, it was hard to get a hold of someone in the office. It's understandable given the great reviews and Mr. Jake is super busy. With persistence, he picked up the call. Mr. Jake was empathetic and kind. He referred me to someone who's an expert in the area I requested. Much appreciated. Jake is phenomenal! Hired him in March and we won our case for family court in June. He fought tooth and nail for us and never backed down. If we ever needed a lawyer again, we would instantly hire Jake again! Worth every dollar and then some. Always got back to us if he missed our call. Walked us through everything. Listened to us and our concerns. Treated us like family. Will recommend him to all of our family and friends!

I was having a hard time finding the right attorney due to jurisdictional issues in my case. I reached out Jake Buckland on a whim & Jake himself answered the phone, which is almost unheard of in the legal industry nowadays.
