I retained Ms. Cohen for a bankruptcy. She was pleasant, helpful and knowledgable. Frankly, I'm surprised by some of the comments about Ms. Cohen not returning emails as she always responded to my calls and emails within 24 hours. Then again, they're anonymous. Ms. Cohen helped me through a very difficult time in my life with a minimum of stress and I highly recommend her.

Most frustrating legal situation i have ever dealt with. Filed chapter 7, i did alot of running around getting our lawyer specific information that she requested, for her to only mix up our information with someone else's case. Sent us information on a vehicle that i never had or owned, said she never recieved paperwork that i specifically put in her hands, included a loan in our chapter 7 that i told her i wanted to pay off. She even instructed me to go to the county and ask for specific information that she needed so the loan wouldn't be included in my chapter 7. My wife and I told her I was the only one filing, for our attorney to put my wife's name on the paperwork . Luckily we caught her mistake . I said we because my wife helped me with organizing the paperwork and double checked everything.

I hired Lauren Cohen for a family court matter. I was an emotional wreck at the time. She was there for me 100% and fought hard for me to keep my children. I was one of those clients who called and e-mailed almost daily. Many attorneys would have ignored the calls or been short with me. She returned every call and answered every email in a timely manner and was kind and professional with me at all times.. She gave me great advice, guided me though out the process and was a bulldog at trial. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I hired Ms. Cohen to handle a bankruptcy for me and then to handle my divorce. She was fantastic. I was nervous and scared and she was just what her website said, competent, caring and professional. She was knowledgeable in both areas of law and best of all, she promptly returned every phone call and e-mail I sent her. With my previous lawyer I'd wait a week or more to hear back from them. Ms. Cohen always responded within 24 hours. I would highly recommend her. I was referred to her by a colleague of mine who had used her and been very happy also. I've seen the negative reviews by two people, but given the areas of law she practices, bankruptcy and family law, there are always going to be people who are unhappy about something. Don't let those comments scare you away. Ms. Cohen provided me with excellent service.

I was going throw a nasty divorce. Ms. Cohen helped me legally and emotionally. She was knowledgeable and competent and got me a good result. But she was also very compassionate, something I really needed at the time. Best of all, she was great about returning phone calls.
