Several years ago, one of my sons was hit by a car while crossing a street in Manhattan. I have practiced law in NY for fifty years but never did personal injury law. After asking other lawyers and checking reviews, I luckily found Jacob Oresky and Associates. My son hired him and his office prepared a case against the car service responsible and a construction site where the accident happened. The firm actively and diligently pursued the matter for years despite the delays that covid caused. Jacob refused to accept the small sums the insurance companies offered. They went the extra mile by doing the work to get ready for trial. On the eve of picking a jury, the insurance companies finally made an acceptable offer. Over the course of the case, I reviewed all of the motions and papers that the firm filed. There is a reason they obtained a big settlement, their papers were first rate and they repeatedly advised not to accept a small offer, even though that would have been easier for them. If you ever need a personal injury lawyer, this is the firm to hire.
