My name is Rodney Brye and it's a privilege to speak about my attorney Mr Troy A Smith for he is a true Professional,true man,true friend.I Spent nearly four years on Rikers island (46months) charged with criminal possession of a weapon I knew I was innocent but my case would come down to my word a Black Man from the Bronx against the word of two police officers given what we see on a daily basis on the news etc , To say I was concerned was a understatement,I could not see myself pleading guilty to a crime I did not commit. At trial Troy's body language and overall aura read "This is what god has put me here to do" as he commenced the undressing of these two lying officers, I mean one of them even lied about how long he was on the force how do you do that? Troy was relentless hard driven on exposing these cops the one's who so called protect and serve us. My trial ended in Full acquittal Troy made possible for the jury to see through the veil of fabrication these officers intended to put over the jurors eyes"NOT GUILTY" is what they said . I can say this if you, a family member or friend ever find yourself in a crisis situation and a criminal charge is the root Troy is the best in the business retain him you will not be disappointed the guy is Loyal . Though I have a good wife and a good job as a union carpenter, I went through a very bad stretch about two years ago when I was drinking too much. I ended up getting arrested and charged with DWI on four separate occasions. All of the cases were felonies. The DA was insisting on upstate time.
