Very informative an,educational information. This attorney seems like he really loves helping the public

I asked a pretty serious question on Avvo related to my mother's cancer care. Her old hospital across the country wasn't sending her medical records to the new cancer hospitals in the area she moved to, and since time is important with cancer, we wanted to find other avenues to get her records to the new hospitals before the situation got more medically serious. It was exactly what we needed to know. The information is of such value because it has the potential to end up having saved her life, so I wanted to thank him for the speedy and helpful response.

At one time, when I was a practicing MD in NY, I has tremendous legal difficulties (nothing to do with my state license) but was too financially too embarrassed to afford legal opinion. Though Mr Wolf knew this it did not stop him from recognizing the overall picture giving me enough time, patience and attention in an interview to steer me in the right direction to win through. I wished I could have paid him more for his help but it was only years later that I realized just how much his advice achieved for me. I don't think there are too many lawyers with that kind of altruism around.

I gave a accurate description of my problem but this attorney only answered with 4 or 5 worded answers that did not answer my questions.

Took time to give me advice and tell me what to do to see if I had a case.

I emailed Mr. Wolf a scenario, asking if he was willing to take on a small case, with a pending settlement, either as an advisor (for a fixed fee), or to perhaps consider pursuing the case toward trial. He indicated that it was too small a case for him to get involved with, but he graciously and generously provided some brief advice by phone and email. Surely he can't do this for everyone--he has a business to run. The fact that this settlement would help someone indigent perhaps influenced his decision. Some other attorneys I've consulted have seemed to be in it for the "quick buck." I didn't get that from Mr. Wolf.
