Douglas, appointed Shulman & Hill to represent him on 03/03/21 for his workers compensation case. This process was stressful for him in the beginning because of the financial, mental, and physical burden that these cases place on anyone. This process was so stressful on him that he began to take his anger out on the representatives that he chose to represent him. Douglas, wants to personally/publicly apologize to Antonia Rodriguez. He requested another paralegal early on in his case, without realizing how incredible she is, and how hard she really worked to produce the results that she did. ( Sorry Antonia ). Douglas wants to thank David B. (Partner) of operations for being available whenever he needed in debt questions answered, or to vent/blow off steam. Thanks David, felt like talking to a friend when they did talk. Douglas wants to thank Nelly for her professionalism and calm manner when talking on the phone. Nelly is very quick and efficient when returning calls, providing information in great detail; and making sure you have a clear understanding on your case settlement offer. Douglas cases was closed recently and will not disclose any specifics on the amounts that was agreed upon. Douglas wants to lets everyone know that your number one goal is to get BETTER, NOT RICH after an injury. These cases can drag out as long as mine did for over 3 years or shorter. Everyone case is different, so please have the patience that I didn't have when appointing this firm to represent me. KEEP IN MIND, these WC lawyers don't get paid Unless YOU DO. The goal is your health first, settlement later. Douglas says thanks to all involved that he may have missed. He tried to cover all bases, while giving readers some insight on what to expect with any workers comp case. Lastly, this firm rocks and fought hard for my settlement, they never took no for an answer and fought till the end. The insurance company tired to lower payments, and stop payments and one point, But thanks to these great attorneys, the insurance company ( SEDGWICK ) failed in doing so.
