We contacted Neil after a friend referred us for a criminal case a family member was involved in. Unfortunately my family member has been working with a public defender and we called Neil out of desperation as he was not getting his right to proper attention to defense for his case. We called Neil with the basic information we had and Neil took out his valuable time free of charge to explain things to us. Neil is a Brooklyn bread down to earth guy. The family’s anxiety was through the roof before we called him. He spoke to us calmly and knew the right questions to ask. He spoke of my family member as a human and not as just another “criminal”. He understood that this person is someone loved. We haven’t hired Neil yet however even without a retainer or any formal sign on he has offered to help us with this case. I feel like there may be some help for our case after 2 years of inconsistency and limbo. Neil has put our mind and heart at some ease.
