Martha is a phenomenal lawyer! She represented me for 2 years as my court-appointed attorney regarding multiple restraining orders that I filed. With her effective advocacy, I received permanent orders in all cases. For any question that I had, Martha had an answer. She is consistently communicative, logical, and empathetic. Despite there being mountains of evidence, Martha was able to present the evidence and facts in a concise, potent manner, advising me each step of the way. She remained flexible in terms of scheduling, working with me to make time for us to prepare. For each step of the process for each restraining order, Martha took the time to coach me, explain all court proceedings, and answer any questions in-depth. Martha closely advised me on how to best articulate in the courtroom, including which keywords to use. I am highly grateful for Martha’s representation.

Martha was my 4th lawyer in an ongoing very contentious custody case. I wish i had found her from the beginning. Martha was a steadfast advocate for child and me and was grounded, professional, skilled, empathic and always available. It can be very difficult to find a custody attorney who truly has the child’s best interest at the center, but Martha does. Martha is an amazing attorney. She was able to settle my years long custody case that others could not. I had a high-conflict ex who hired a high- conflict attorney. It had taken its toll on everyone involved, especially my daughter and I thought it was never going to end. She was hands down the best lawyer who actually listen, caring, and worked hard to make sure you are heard in the court. As a Black Man, part of the LGBTQ, she was well equipped with family abuse and you can tell she has many years of experiences helping varies of situation that is related to family court. A long battle in the court, and she never gave up until final judgements, she spoke loud and clear against the noises (the opposition) and to hear the Judge utter the most beautiful things, that makes a grown man cry in joy and victory. All thanks to Ms. Martha Schneiderman and i highly recommend her.

I met Martha in the middle of my case, a case which was legally and emotionally challenging to say the least. Martha has a calming presence because of her personality but also because she has so much experience in the field. She was able to enter into a difficult case with ease and after all options and resources were completely exhausted, worked wonders through the settlement process. Martha practices law with integrity, was so thorough and detailed in her work and thoughtful about the sensitivities that I was facing in court and in the personal realm. Within all the professionals involved, she was well respected and was the one who walked the high road, continually thinking about the best options for my children and for me. Ms Schneiderman was assigned to my case via court . She was attentive in listening to what I was hoping to achieve .She made sure to remind to answer all my questions ,I am grateful for the time she took and her services .

After five long arduous years in the court system (in both Family Court and IDV) I found Ms. Schneiderman, whom was referred to us by another lawyer I highly trusted and respected. Martha's expertise, dilligence, integrity, kindness and compassion is unparallelled. Not only did Martha settle our case -which had been labelled as un-settleable by all parties involved- she actually listened and was respecful of my concerns and had the welfare of myself and my child as her utmost priority. There was very little unecessary communication and she was respectful of my time and need to be resourceful- especially as a single parent. Martha proved to be very well respected in the Courtroom with both the judge and opposing council alike, and again, I could not have asked for better representation. I came to Martha with an family emergency dealing with a health issue for my child. First and foremost she took the time to listen to me and what was going on. I have been through many lawyers and, unfortunately, have found that they don't have time to listen and prefer to push their agenda. Martha is great at listening and giving options that proved to be extraordinarily helpful. She talked me through every part of the legal and emotional process step by step. She was gracious and generous, with both her time and expenses. I had to file an order to show cause because my child's health was being compromised by the other parent. The response that came from the court was confusing and complicated. Again, Martha was there every step of the way. Explained my options clearly and helped me to feel that my concerns were her concerns as well. She always made herself available to me when something came up. I won the case and my child is safer because of the time, concern, intelligence, hard work and care that Martha gave. I do not know what would have happened if I had not had her legal help. My family and I are very fortunate to have had her as our lawyer and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a smart, cunning, caring, invested lawyer. She is an excellent lawyer.
