If you are reading this and thinking about hiring Mr. Gershon, DO IT. This was one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. Mr. Gershon is a very caring and compassionate lawyer who excels at what he does. I never felt alone while dealing with my family court case. He was responsive to all of my calls and emails, despite how many times I reached out to him. He made sure that any questions that I had were answered and calmed my nerves, any time that I would freak out. Mr. Gershon's intelligence, experience and vast knowledge of the legal system really shines in the courtroom. He successfully defended me in trial and got the case against me dismissed with prejudice.

I hired Mr. Gershon last month to help me with an ongoing child support issue regardings arrears. Although I moved out of NY he was able to assist me. I had a schedule child support hearing which was done over the phone. Prior to hearing I was able to meet him in person in NY and he provided me with all the possibilites that could happen. He always emailed me if he needed information, followed up with me after the hearing and provided with all the paperwork from the hearing. I would definitely recommend Mr. Gershon. I was not disappointed with his services and I would hire him again if need.

DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY. Quite possibly the most inept attorney I have ever had. I hired Mr. Gershon for a custody/child support case, when it came settlement discussion time he advised me to sign a child support agreement that cause YEARS of damage. I fired him before the custody case began after he asked me for an additional 4K after doing nothing. You are better off representing yourself. Do not hire this attorney!

Fantastic and brilliant attorney. My big brother was facing time but heard about attorney Robert S. Gershon after asking around about good lawyers. Robert Gershon is a brilliant, trustworthy lawyer. I had a child custody case at the Family Court, and he helped me to get the custody.

Rob Gershon was my attorney for a Custody case and he was phenomenal. Not only did I get what i want, Full Sole Custody, but he was extremely responsive, professional, and realistic. He always made himself available to speak to me on the phone, email, or in person. It was my first time ever having to go to court for anything and I was very emotional about it all. He was very detailed with the process and always answered all the questions I had which made me more comfortable and knowledgeable. I hope I never have to need a lawyer again but if i do, my first call would be to Mr. Gershon’s office.

He’s been my defense attorney twice over the past 3 years and he has properly represented me in both cases. Now I don’t go into any legal situation without seeking his input first!

I was going through a divorce that potentially could have resulted in my loosing a lot of my hrad earned retirement. i was married for less than 90 days before this sister (which fortunately does not represents most ladies) went for my hard earned retirement income.
