Robert Gershon would not be recommended if hes the last lawyer in the world. Don't let the soft spoken voice fools anyone. Hes rude, condescending, disrespectful and elitist. He hang up the phone during conversation. He misleads his client never give full information. He cheated me as an homeless out of all the fical funds i have and rendered no help. My case is still in family court and now i have no funds to pay. Robert Gershon robbed me the homeless. He hide the most important information during consultation. Then aftre he coollected my ten thousand in his pocket. He told me his msjor means if communication is via email. How the hell could you tell a homeless person such information after you collected his ten thousand dollars? He should be barred from practicing law. I'm in tje process of filing a complaint against with The Brooklyn Bar Association. All thumbs down for Robert Gershon

Personable and professional

I am so disappointed by my consultation with Robert Gershon. Many of the reviews say he is an extremely compassionate family lawyer but that was not my experience. Robert gave me a few minutes of his time, listened to my story and quickly determined that I do not have a case for a restraining order even though I have been stalked, abused and harassed by the same person, the latest being THIS MORNING. Since many of the criminal instances are from 3 years ago before I went no contact, he said he didn’t think a court would rule in my favor so essentially don’t bother. I understand he was trying to help but I am living my life in fear and that phone call only made me feel more afraid. I wish he would have listened to me, been sympathetic, and given me some genuinely helpful advice or explored my options. Instead he retraumatized me.

Robert Gershon was able to take a huge relief off my shoulders. It’s been a long time coming and I am very satisfied that he was able to represent me to the best of his ability. I received terrible service to day from the intake for a malpractice suit I’m currently trying to obtain. I explain my issues why I was suing and she immediately started cutting me off saying this suit isn’t valid without fully hearing me out. I’ve been explained I am not looking for a pro bono attorney and explain to her that I home, three companies and I will be paying out-of-pocket for my representation if I have a case she then proceeded to cut me off again rudely then I asked, is there anyone else I can speak to in your office she said no then I asked her do you have a degree in law she said no so then I said, I think you’re not understanding my case, and she cut me off again being a owner of multiple companies I do understand customer service index reports mean to a company. I am a very fair person, but I would like to at least explain my case before I get shut down by someone who is not even a lawyer and no consumer deserves the rudeness that I had to have today it was quite embarrassing, and I would not do business with this phone ever!
