We found Jessica here on Avvo after speaking with many lawyers. My husband and I here in NYC were looking for help with his immigration from Colombia. From the start we saw how organized, super responsive, and overall lovely Jessica is. She really knows what’s she’s doing compared to most lawyers we spoke with, and she herself works directly with you throughout the whole process. We’ve even referred her to many friends who are going through the same process with her. We would highly highly recommend her to everyone, she makes what could be a stressful process actually enjoyable.

My wife (Colombian) and I (US green card holder) contacted Jessica about 1 year ago after speaking to about 4 other immigration lawyers. We didn’t really feel a connection with or trust in the others we spoke to and were still searching. Jessica offered us a free consultation and by the end of the call, we told her our choice was made. What was interesting was that the others all wanted us to sign a contract and pay upfront, and Jessica refused to take any money until we collected all of our documents (and we actually kept insisting!) She reviewed them and really knew our case. She helped us to gather the items she needed, promptly answering emails, providing instruction on the proper birth certificate etc. Once we had our initial items ready, and Jessica started the case, we were ready to file in about a week. The speed and accuracy of her work was quite remarkable. We had a long wait from USCIS, a little less than a year, but thanks to her work our case was approved by mail without an interview. This is a really great lawyer worthy of you putting your life into her capable hands.
