Didn't have a chance to meet the attorney. Staff was so rude on the phone and in the office. Came for a consultation first time.Had to leave.

On May 13th, 2018 my sister, Bridget DeLeon, passed away at the age of 44 leaving her two girls (Gabrielle and Olivia) orphaned. Bridget’s husband, Pedro DeLeon, passed away 17 months earlier from cancer. Bridget did not leave a Will and my nephew, Anthony Papa (age 26), was granted temporary guardianship of the girls as next of kin. I am Bridget’s youngest sister, Suzanne, and I live in California with my husband and our two children. After Bridget’s death, Gabrielle and Olivia’s school community Success Academy Bensonhurst rallied together to set up a Go Fund Me page to secure a future for the two girls. It was at this point that Inna Fershteyn contacted our family and was kind enough to donate her pro bono services as a lawyer to set up a trust for the girls. Our family is forever grateful for Inna’s gift of her time and expertise to help secure a future for Gabrielle and Olivia. A word of advice: go to her competitors they offer free consultations. We agreed upon a date and price for a consultation. We talked with her staff and mentioned we were running late. We expected to be taken on arrival for the remaining time we had left, but Ms. Fershteyn was busy with other clients during our time. When she did find the time to work with us, she often went on tangents talking about personal and unrelated matters which took more time. The information she assumed we needed was explained well, but the questions which I actually wanted answered weren't asked due to lack of time. I asked for a partial refund because I was unsatisfied with the service and didn't receive answers to the questions I wanted. She refused to refund half the consultation fee. My experience was far from positive, and I would not recommend her to my friends.

Very disappointed with little amount of work done before retainer depleted. Was charged for every email received or sent, phone call received or made, faxes sent. It all adds up so make sure you do your research regardless of where you go. If you have a retainer make sure you ask what additional fees are charged. Keep a record of all written and verbal communication.
