I had been working with Gary for at least two year regarding my mother's estate...will, probate and helping sell and close my mother's apartment. Gary has been so patient and professional. He's always answered my questions immediately and explained the answers in such a way that I totally understand. Even now that our dealings are over, I feel I could call Gary with anything and he'd be happy to help. Highly recommend!!

They are a punch of crooks ,they operate like gang. I hired them and paid them for a Condo purchase and instead of doing their job they sabotage the deal and kept the money. I am in the process of reporting them to the BAR. My advise to anyone avoid dealing with them at any cost.

7/2020 We hired Gary Melamed at a dire time of when a loved one passed away without a will. We were in need of an attorney to help with co op Estate. This is our first time dealing with such a matter and Gary was knowledge for our situation as he is familiar and previously dealt with this specific co op building. We retained Gary- waited 7 months for one document , to be appointed Estate Administrator- granted due to COVID. Going forward with selling the co op-, we found out additional paperwork would be needed which Gary said we would need for an additional fee. When inquired about the additional fee, Gary wanted to charge thousands of dollars on top of the thousands we previously gave him, did not offer a discount as returning clients. So now that we grieved the death of our beloved, my mind is more clear to think things thru. I began my research for the last month and consulted with numerous legal counsel throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan, whom would take care of Estate Administrator and tax liens for less then Gary’s initial charge of $5000 +$444 court filing fees. After telling Gary we will not obtain him for the tax liens release because we aren’t willing to shell out another $3000 for his fees he stoped answering my phone- even blocked my number. To me personally, I feel used- ripped off and over charged by this Attorney who was suppose be on our side, guiding us through this process. I now had to retain a different attorney to finish Garys job with obtained tax releases for a fee of $500, after weeks of figuring everything out. I would not recommend Gary. Please do your research before over paying for his service.

I would like to leave a glowing review to Gary Melamed - both in his capacity as a lawyer and in his capacity as a real estate agent. He provided an amazing one-stop solution for my situation: I inherited an apartment from my mother in Brooklyn; I live in another state and am very busy. I asked Gary to probate my mother's estate (with me as an executor) and help me sell her apartment. Gary provided very competent legal advice (and I can tell since I work with lawyers a lot) and took care of all implementation. From the moment I engaged Gary until I had cash from the sale of my mother's apartment in her estate bank account I spent no more than 3-4 hours on the whole process. I cannot imagine how I could deal with it without Gary. It is not only his competence and efficiency but also trustworthiness. I relied on his to make all kinds of decisions on my behalf, to engage other professionals, etc. and felt very comfortable with it. Thank you, Gary!
