Does it lie softly? but it's hard to sleep. I encountered blatant disrespect and rudeness. All that's on my mind is money, more money, and it doesn't matter that it wasn't agreed upon earlier. there are no human qualities in her.

the consultation is expensive, others have it much cheaper, and even when the lawyer herself doesn't know what is best to submit and what document it's just a waste of money since after that no one answered me on gmail

Alena handles my immigration process. I am a widower, so my case isn't simple. Any question I have, any problem pops up, she is there for me. She fights hard for the case and compassionate with her clients. Her fees are reasonable too. Alena has my full trust!

I am very grateful that Ms Alena Shautsova accepted my case from the beginning to end she was successful. I had a pleasant experience with the attorney, she and her assistant Greg are very dedicated, experience and work very hard which resulted in my success. Ms Alena is honest, her fee is fair with the high quality of work she produce . All immigration forms , right type is filled correctly and on time. Ms Alena is the type of attorney that you can go to sleep after submitting your documents and attorney fee, knowing that a HONEST person is working on your behalf. On my interview I noticed that an attorney and his client was arguing over documentation that was missing, and this happened after their interview. Can you imagined that after waiting so many YEARS for an interview, that the wrong and incomplete forms were submitted? I had non of those troubles, Ms Alena submitted all my documentation electronically correctly. My greencard was mailed to Ms Alena and Greg contacted me and mailed it to me via Priority mail. Ms Alena/ Greg you both will always be my attorney . Thank you for being professional in your service and most of all HONEST. Bibi

My wife's immigration case was denied due to identity theft. Negative information was entered on her record by DHS. My first attorney did not really know how to go about to resolve this. My 2nd attorney was very slow, hard to get a hold, even though he had 10+ years of experience. Out of desperation I found Ms. Shautsova on Avvo. I had 3 consultations with her while I was still with my other attorney. Each time I came away with extremely valuable information that help my case progress forward. She helped me with getting my wife's record corrected in CBP. Finally, I decide to retain her as the legal representative for me. She was able to get my wife's waiver of inadmissibility approved. I cannot even begin to describe her level of knowledge. I was always able to get in touch with her whenever I needed to. She was very professional.

She was such a nice person. She helped our same-sex immigration marriage case and now I've got my Green Card. I can have a happy life together with my husband. She was really attentive and experienced, knew exactly what we had to do. And her assistant Greg was very sweet as well. I totally recommend her!

I had the good pleasure of working through my Immigration process with the most sincere, thorough, personable, and professional attorney Alena Shautsova and her very able Assistant Gregory. They walked me step-by-step through the process of obtaining my permanent residency. There were many times I got uptight about or did not understand some issue or the other and they were always there for me. Alena made herself always available, helped me out with questions that appear time to time. If you want a 1st class Immigration/legal professional look no further. She is my go to attorney and I recommend her to everyone I meet who has a need for legal intervention. I am thankful and Lucky that I walked into her office in Brooklyn 3 years ago. Today I am granted asylum and thankful client. THANK YOU Alena!

5 Key Attributes: Highly Intelligent, Flexible, Intuitive, Vastly Knowledgeable, Sincerely Caring My experience with Alena Shautsova has been more than pleasant, and I mean that in all aspects. From start to finish, she not only gave my wife and I the confidence we needed to go through all the necessary steps but she was always informative, polite, easy to talk to, and understanding. I'm someone that always does a great deal of research before I spend money on something, whether it's something as important as a lawyer or doctor, or something as basic as a computer mouse. Anyone researching Alena Shautsova will find that she has a super stellar record and a prestigious background in immigration law. It was the start of my confidence and what led me to contact her in the first place. I am extremely keen when it comes to extrapolating on-paper data into real world scenarios, no matter how abstract the connection. It's a gift that allows me to see other people's gifts and how good they can be at it, so believe me when I say, Alena met and exceeded all my expectations no matter the hardships we encountered. To give a brief description of the situation we had, my wife is Canadian and I am an American citizen. In one of my visits to her, an uncontrollable event (which I will keep private, and no it was nothing illegal) forced us to have her cross the border with me on my way back to the U.S.. She overstayed the 6 months that Canadians are allowed to stay within a 12 month period. By this point we've been together for 2 and a half years. Another issue was that the border officer who checked us on the Amtrak did not stamp her passport upon entry. I actually had to ask for mine to be stamped as that is something that I prefer to have for my own records. Fast forward a year and a half into gathering records, filing documents (all of which is made easy with the fact that all you have to do is hand what she asks of you to her), Ms.Shautsova training and preparing us, and my wife and I attending the necessary government protocols such as her getting her biometrics done, we were finally scheduled for an interview. The man who interviewed us was an extremely unfair person and was not satisfied with what we had so we were scheduled for another more in-depth interview. This had my wife and I really worried, not so much that we had anything to hide or did anything wrong, as our relationship was as real as it can possibly be, but when someone is the most important thing in the world to you, even the small notion of possibly being separated from them even for a brief moment, is going to eat away at you. This is where Ms.Shautsova is not only one of the most knowledgeable, skilled, clever, and intelligent immigration lawyer around, but also very considerate, kind, and keenly knows what to inform you about in order for you to regain your composure and your confidence. She briefed us on all our options, what each path would require, and trained us extensively for the interview. She even briefed us on the possible negative outcomes and the solutions for them to keep us from worrying. If you have anything specific to ask, you can be comfortable in asking her. She does not judge. For the two years we knew her we always felt like we were talking to an extremely reliable friend who was helping us get through a stressful situation, instead of just a professional who we were paying to solve our problems. Speaking of payment, Alena's prices are more than fair. For two years we only paid once, which was the initial payment we agreed to at the very beginning. With Alena Shautsova, you are getting ELITE quality service for the price of your normal lawyer, and I do not exaggerate. At the end of it all, Ms.Shautsova fought for us and we were able to acquire residency for my wife. If an immigration lawyer is what you're looking for, I can't give you a reason why anyone would need to look further. Knowing her for two years, it's easy for me to see how vast and extensive her knowledge in the field is. One final thing I want to add in here: Her assistant is a great guy. He played a big role in keeping my wife and I from worrying too much by being an overall very approachable person and always welcomed you with a bright smile and a genuinely good attitude.
