Rovshan Sharifov is a an excellent trial lawyer! My brother was accused of forcible touching his passenger which seemed to be a hopeless case to defend. Although he was innocent, we knew all the odds were against us. There was no concrete evidence that he did not do it, complainant was a daughter of a former police officer, two other females and detective testified for prosecution. We felt so wronged but could only leave it up to Mr. Sharifov to represent my brother and fight for his innocence and justice. It was a tough time for our family and Rovshan Sharifov was with us every step of the way. He was very patient and understanding as it was our first time facing law enforcement and really took his time explaining all the terms, details and possible outcomes of the case. With his competence, professionalism, trial skills, knowledge and hard work for almost a year before this case was tried, he cross examined all witnesses in great details and showed inconsistencies. He fought very hard to prove my brother's innocence at jury trial. The verdict came out and my brother was found Not Guilty; and we were all in tears. Rovshan Sharifov is not only an outstanding lawyer but also a great human being. Could not ask for a better lawyer than him. I've had the pleasure of using Richard's services for a divorce case. Though an uncontested divorce there were some complicated points which Richard dealt with flawlessly. Richard is super professional, communicative, and goes way beyond the extra mile. His prices are very reasonable, and when some complications with the completion of the case arose, Richard took the extra cost of the extra unexpected on himself, staying true to the agreed upon price though the scope of the work changed. In March my father had been involved in an accident that totaled 4 vehicles. When the police showed up, they found my father’s prescription medication bottles in the car. They had arrested him and took him to a hospital where he was chained up in handcuffs to the hospital bed. My dad had his blood tested and they had found TWO prescription drugs in his blood stream. He was facing an 1192.4, which is about the worst DUI charge you can face. I called about 5 different lawyers before I found I Rovshan from Sharifov & Associates. A bunch of lawyers that I called flat out told me that they wouldn’t bother talking to me until I paid to retain them. Rovshan was the only one that took his time to listen to my story, explain my options, and make some suggestions without pressure. I can’t explain how much better I felt knowing that I had him in my corner. Something that particularly stuck out to me was when I said to Rovshan “are you going to defend my dad as though he were your dad” and he replied “I treat every client like they are family” Rovshan went above and beyond. He followed up with the doctors for us, reached out and collaborated with others in his field to make sure that he was building the best possible defense, and most importantly he communicated with us every step of the way. When the date came to settle everything in court, we were all hoping to get the DUI dropped from a CRIMINAL 1192.4 to a traffic INFRACTION 1192.1. When Rovshan and my dad walked into court, the whole thing was settled in less than 5 minutes. The prosecutor thumbed through the 60 pages of paperwork that Rovshan and his team had spent compiling, whispered something to the judge, and the judge had said CASE DISMISSED. My dad went from a hell hole of a situation, to being let off completely free, not even a parking ticket. Thank you so much to Sharifov & Associates for saving my dad’s future.
