I've been a student in the US since 2006 and married a US citizen a year and a half ago. We decided to apply for my permanent residence and initially tried to go the DIY route, but ended up shopping around and chose Gilmer Law after he quoted us a $999 flat fee (for comparison, my wife's coworker referred us to another firm which charged $5000). Well worth it. I figured our case would be trivial since I'm only from Canada, was in the US legally, and our relationship was 8 years in when we submitted our paperwork, but a number of things come up that you can't predict, and the department of homeland security isn't in the business of making aliens' lives easier. Everything was handled seamlessly and all our questions were answered promptly. My green card arrived last week, and the whole process was much less stressful thanks to George.

I hired Mr. Gilmer as a family law attorney, from our first conversation I knew he would have my best interest at heart. He was understanding, not judgemental, HONEST, and throughout the entire process kept me well informed without overwhelming me with things I didn't need to worry about at the time. In the end we won our case and it was so helpful to have an attorney who not only got the job done, but remained compassionate. I can't thank Mr. Gilmer enough!

This was the worst experience I've ever had with an attorney. They cost me money, tried to settle my case behind my back and I never knew who was going to represent me at hearings.
