How do I start without getting mushy. She was recommended by another lawyer that was not able to help me with my case and she turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. I came all the way from the South Bronx on the train with my portable oxygen and met with this wonderful person. She greeted me with such professionalism, compassion and a big smile. I felt at ease and knew that I was in the right place. She ask me to have a seat and explained everything in detail, including answering my multiple questions without hesitation. Judy is an excellent lawyer who helped us with our first home purchase in Brooklyn. Our condo was new construction and she was very upfront with us from the beginning what the process would look like. She helped adjust the contract so that we would have added layers of protection - she really looks out for her clients! If I could give Rachel twenty stars, I would. We had consulted another attorney and he had wanted me to get him all the credit card info, balances, account numbers and we were overwhelmed. We were thinking if we had to do all this running around, then what will this attorney do? So we were referred to Rachel by another attorney and my brother and I met her on Wednesday and by Friday we were filed and we had a court date which was only a month away. I didn’t have to do anything except sign a retainer. Rachel did all the legwork and she even responded to my emails from overseas when she was on vacation; who does that? Rachel is very professional and extremely friendly, and my brother is able to pick up calls on his cell after 4 years. I wish I could go around telling everyone to file for bankruptcy lol and to use only Rachel :)
