Ms Mock handled a very problematic guardianship situation in an expedited manner! She has a no nonsense, razor sharp approach in elder care. I highly recommend her and her talents to anyone who is confronting an elder care headache. If I could, I would give her 6 stars!!!! She goes to bat for her clients!

Me and my girlfriend were to buy a two family house. I found Judy online, read her good reviews, and contacted her. She responded to my very quickly; after a quick call, she sent me a to do list, which is a very clear and helpful guidance. We scheduled a meeting to go over our contract. Before the meeting, she already did all the DD, and a lot of research on the house(which i am not sure if all attorneys would have done so, I purchased a condo in 2017, closed with a different attorney, back then, I didn't interact with my attorney much or discuss all terms in details, maybe because condos are easier. ). At the meeting, she explained to us about the potential issue of the house; explained the terms in contract and how we can best protect our down payment deposits in multiples ways; and all other perspectives that we should add/change in the contracts to help us, she didn't overlook any details. She didn't rush us to get in contract/close the house so she could get paid, instead, she expressed her concerns on the issues of the house, and gave us very helpful suggestions on what we could do if we really want the house. We truly felt that Judy acted best for her client, and make sure we don't get into a contract while end up with a lot of troubles. Me and my girlfriend researched more on the issues of the house, and ended up deciding not to buy the house(which saved us a lot of money and time). Judy is very experienced, and thorough, she is very honest and very straight to the point, she is definitely a great partner if you want to buy a house and we felt really lucky to work with her and she helped us stay away from a trouble house. We will find our dream house and close with Judy for sure.

Hired Meryl to assist with my closing. Was never informed that someone else would be representing me instead of her. After paid her, all over sudden she completely handed over my case to one of her employees. At the end, they lost case for me and not only did I have to pay her, had to pay for the loses too. It gets better! Few years later, received notification that owe Meryl more money even though paid rider in full and as per her own rider, no work would be done if there is balance. She made up fees that owe her and why would she do any work if owed her $. Instead of sending bills (since obviously there was no real services provided that she could bill for), they filed a lawsuit against me for the made up balance! What a shame that trusted her to represent me and extremely disappointed that not only did she lose the case but is also so unprofessional that instead of worrying about how to win cases, since obviously she can’t do that, she sued her clients for made up fees. Guess can’t get new clients so that’s her new way of making $

I am a first time homebuyer who closed about 3 weeks ago. Judy is good. She was straightforward and detailed all the costs that may be involved in the process. She was very responsive with any questions and concerns I raised throughout the process. When we reviewed the purchase contract together, she highlighted everything of concern, including things I didn’t pick up. Throughout the process, she gave very good instructions on what to do and what to expect next. At the closing, she was very good at explaining the payment details. At the end of the process, I did not have any more questions for her. She had answered all my questions. I would recommend her to other people and would reach out to her again for any other legal services she provides.
