My attorney through the court has done NOTHING TO HELP ME. Hes a joke

Love them! Kind and understanding professionals.

I will never use Neighborhood Legal Services again. I do not recommend this place. I had the rudest lawyer for my divorce. In regards to a certain matter with my ex, she said “What do you want me to do? Ask the judge to slap his hand?” She also told me that the child he and I had that passed away just doesn’t matter. The list is endless. Never again.

Very courteous staff and lawyer's and P.A's. They get back to you in a timely manner.

I certainly had a very disappointing experience with this organization. Unfortunately, they do not show a strong desire to help and seem to do only the bare minimum, nor can they even be forthright if they are unable to help, but string the client along, creating even more helplessness and anxiety for the client who is dealing with a life-altering, time-sensitive matter. This is what occurred to me after I was able to make contact with a paralegal by the name of Daniel Galvin, after he told me that he would relay the info I gave him during my intake to an attorney and get back to me. Well, I had to wait a full 15 days to hear back from him again, only because I had reached out to the Executive Director, Lauren Breen, with the complaint of his completely ignoring my outreach attempts and not making any contact with me during these 15 days. After making my complaint, I finally receive only an e-mail stating that the reason it took so long to get back to me was because "the attorney was out of the office." But, he couldn't just let me know that when I was reaching out? No, he'd rather just ghost me and make me wonder what is going on. He also stated in his e-mail that NLS was going to send me a letter with advice and information regarding my situation. Guess what? I never received such letter. Do yourself a favor, and reach out to WNY Law Center, where they will respond to you like you are a human. If you want to be frustrated, demeaned, and NOT treated like a human with dignity, then by all means, reach out to Neighborhood Legal Services.

They weren't helpful at all, they ignored pertinent questions I asked and did not provide me with answers; they eventually stopped calling. The eviction process in Buffalo needs oversight.
