She was amazing down to earth straight forward and even though she had other cases she still made sure all areas for the process were done properly and in a timely fashion!

I had retained Kate Johnson Nov 20 of 2022 for 2,000$ she was very social and listened. By Nov 28 of 2022 DSS filed against me and dad. Instead of Kate being honest she couldn’t handle this case she continued to say cps/dss are morons. Everytime we talked it was her venting about her personal life or asking me stuff about my life that had nothing to do with the case. When I did need her as my attorney she would rudely reject my calls and text me stating she only goes by text so she doesn’t mix cases up. By February 13 of 2023 I texted her kinda of ending our relationship she agreed that I was too much for her. Instead of giving me the 500$ back out of my retainer she told me to follow up with the new attorney she recommended. Lauren Creighton I can give Kate 5 star for recommending Creighton was the best thing she’s done. But Kate needs a lot of learning and personal issues healed. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone unless you know your case is 100 easy enough to self represent

Unlike my prior divorce lawyer, who let my divorce drag on for 5 years (!!) without any resolution & me getting raked over the coals- I hired Kate in April of 2023 & she had my case settled(with me getting what I asked for)& wrapped up by September 2023, & finalized by December!! She was my literal deliverer!! I am so glad I hired her for my divorce. Period.

Kate mostly handles divorce law. She is able to handle family court: child custody cases which is why I hired her on. Initially upon hire she was easily accessible and very sociable. However, she never sent me receipt for hiring her on or copies of signed paperwork explaining our contract. She was late to one of our hearings which looked bad to the judge (who made a comment) and I could tell during proceedings she was very resigned and by her demeanor it did not seem like the judge took her very seriously. Anyways, I tried reaching out to her once I received final court order due to some questions/ concerns. She ignored my calls and never called back nor did she respond to my text messages. She never sent me copies of the documents from the final court order or updates about proceedings. I had to reach out to her multiple times and receive copies from the courts. She also never provided me with a release form upon completion of court proceedings which would’ve stated that she is no longer my lawyer, that she’s answered all my questions, etc. and from my understanding of recent is that I cannot hire on or speak to another lawyer because she is still technically my lawyer which is ridiculous. I’m honestly not sure if it’s because she doesn’t like child custody cases (as she blatantly told me at one point) or because she is young and maybe inexperienced but I’m extremely disappointed especially when I know she has my number and my current address/ email so there is no excuse as to why she cannot find a moment to respond nor send me proper documentation. Like I said based on previous reviews maybe she does well with divorce cases but in my experience, not with child custody cases.

Kate was on point from day 1. She was so easy to talk to, very understanding, and my divorce from start to finish only took 1 1/2 months! She made a process that can be so incredibly stressful and difficult, to something so easy and seamless. I would recommend Kate to anyone! Thank you so so SO much!!!!

Kate did an excellent job with my divorce. She was always available and answered all my questions in spite of a heavy workload!

After going through so many attorneys, I knew from our first conversation that Kate would be my person to take my case as she took time in hearing me out. She is very flexible with her times and accepts texts which was a plus for me! She even brought my papers to sign by my house when I couldn’t go to her office due to my vehicle being damaged from an accident. She’s great!
