We hired David Whitcomb to do the closing on our old house and our new house as well. There were some bumps along the road throughout this long process and David and his amazing staff were right there to answer all of our questions and help guide us along the way. His office is extremely quick and efficient, both qualities of which are imperative during this process. At closing, David was very professional, thorough and made the whole thing much less stressful. Without a doubt, we highly recommend David Whitcomb and will be doing so to our friends and family in the future.

I knew David Whitcomb's background and personality from profiling his experience on Capitol Hill in Washington and moving back to his own hometown to become a "Main Street Lawyer" (in a magazine). When I knew I was heading to bankruptcy, I called him. It was a very emotional, anxiety-ridden time for me and I appreciated David's reassuring, compassionate, informative manner. I'm a 63 year old, self-employed, divorced woman whose industry crashed in 2008. My house went into foreclosure and David has been at my side, working with the court and bank attorney for 1.5 years (and counting) of meetings to try for a modification for my mortgage. I feel that we're a team - we discuss the possibilities and he helps me navigate a very frustrating process. It's a reassuring feeling to know that he is on my side and working on my behalf. David maps out all the options, as well as the downsides. Whatever the outcome of this current legal process, I'll know that I have received the best counsel possible -- and that I can go forward without regret. To me, that's worth its weight in gold. I worked with David three times and most recently in the last week which was a major case. He dealt with a lot of nonsensical things in this case and it seemed like he felt the same way I felt. He dealt with this case while in the midst of starting his own firm, something that can be quite stressful in itself. But while dealing with opening his firm and all other cases he was undertaking still took my case and it always seemed like that was number one in his mind. He worked harder that my last three attorneys and did not treat me like a walking dollar sign, he treated me like a human being and understood the stress I was under. What amazed me the most was after the case was settled he told me how he remembered when I walked into his office 2 years ago and how i was a nervous wreck. Today I can say he fixed everything and today I am living stress free. This is all due to his excellent knowledge and his by the book ethics. I would recommend David to anyone who needs help and would like to be treated fairly and not like money in his pockets. He never gives up and never gets lazy.
