Had moving violation upstate. Unable to get back there to appear in person. Mr. Wagman handled everything and, although I still had to pay a fine, he was able to lower the charge and reduce to 0 points on my license, which is why I hired an attorney instead of just paying the fine in the first place. He and his staff were very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend James Wagman, based on a case he handled for me. I received a speeding ticket this past summer on the Taconic Parkway that could have resulted in 6 points on my license, with serious and expensive consequences. Mr. Wagman assured me he would do the best he possibly could, but I should expect to get a reduced offense, with a violation and 2 points. It turned out that he was able to negotiate a non-moving violation, with NO POINTS ON MY LICENSE, and a reasonable fine of $175. He is a very nice gentleman, he gets results, and his fee is reasonable. Plus, he represents you at the court, and you do not have to personally attend, which would have been a very long ride for me. If you get a ticket, or have a legal issue, contact his office, and they respond promptly.

Used Mr. Wagman for a speeding ticket while on vacation. I was looking at 4 to 6 points I believe and Mr. Wagman got me zero points and saved me a 3 hour drive. You have to hire an attorney in this area if you get a speeding ticket. Mr. Wagman quickly responded to my inquiry, had a strategy, and was able to bring my points down from 6 to 2. Super easy to deal with and his assistant is great! Hopefully I never have to use him again, but if I get another ticket in Athnes, NY, Mr. Wagman will be my first phone call. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend. Ticket was reduced to a non moving violation from 6 point moving violation. This is my second time dealing with attorneys to fight off tickets. The first one was with a different lawyer. Mr Wagman was by far much more professional and told me what to expect before we started the process. Mr. Wagman is very knowledgeable of the court/legal system in the Upstate NY area. I had a speeding violation barely 11mph over the speed limit, just following traffic (there were 2 cars ahead of me). I was the car to be pulled over. Nonetheless, Mr. Wagman was able to to help negotiate a reduced traffic violation ticket. He's very personable and walked me through each step of the process.
