I don't understand this past reviews, I'm a father who won custody of my daughter back in 2007 and represented by Margaret Schaefler. The mother had nothing overwhelming that would cause a loss in custody and I cant say enough about the great tactical job Mrs. Schaefler did.

Mrs Schaefler was representing me in Riverhead Family Court in 2005 regarding child custody. She kept quiet when it was necessary to talk and defend my interests and interests of my child. She lost the case or maybe she has done it deliberately in order to loss it. Then I left a lot of messages, but I have never got a call back. I don't trust that lawyer and I would never recommend her.

Margaret handled a custody case for me a few years ago and not only did she when the case for me but she was extremely compassiate and didn't chase after me for money. She allowed me to pay time payments and was a very understanding attorney. I just referred my God daughter to her and if she has changed over the years I will definitely hear about it and will be back here to update my review.

She was assigned to me. I had to talk to her about the case there was an attorneys only conference coming up with the judge. I left numerous messages in her office to get back to me so we can talk of what I want in the matter. I left a message of what time specifically to call me. Nothing. She REFUSED TO GET BACK TO ME. REFUSED. She thinks she is royalty.
