There can’t be another worst law firm in New York Poor communication . My case has been settled over a year but not finalized because of a fee agreement that was changed by Bangel and Cohen ‘ I learned about the fee change from NYS workers Compensation Board in a letter I received February 18, 2022 . Stating that a fee submitted by Bangel cohen did not match what they have on file . A second letter was sent September 2022 to me by the state requesting a new fee agreement with all the parties signature I am patiently:::;;;::::::: Waiting for the new agreement !! I called in October 2022 and was told that they would accept the original fee agreed on .. This is after having to prove my records Today November 7th NYS workers comp sent me a third letter It is a shame that a case settled over a year ago is still not finalized all because of dishonesty .. I been with this company for fighting my case without avail no one cares regarding your feelings and family obligations once they collect their payment to hell with you I don’t know for other people lawyers in the company but mine is very neglected of his clients I’m waiting and still waiting for my payment

Unfortunately I've had no luck the folks that rated five stars. I've spoken with Stephen Cohen twice. The first time was about my case and my previous representation, I was told they to see if they could take my case bc of their good standing with my previous attorney. The 2nd time I got the call with "the good news" that they were able to represent me. They got the info from my case and told me I should be receiving the retention email and I never received it. I wish it were different.

I am with many years and a want to change but don't know how to. Can someone please help. They don't stay incontact with you and inform you what is going on. I have to hear from the therapy about everything that is going on with me and they have to try andcall to fix it and it's not their job. Since June they were told to fix mistakes from the board and calling andvemail without reply. I have to have therapy doing they job without pay because I had a operation and need therapy. So unfair 😒😪😕😢😑😞. Thanks to Yadira who called and help me with my situation. I really appreciate you listening to me and do your best to help. All now my paralegal as not called me back just reply once to a email. I wish they could change him. I really tried but no luck.

If I could leave -5 stars I would. The lack of communication is amazing coming from this law firm. In the beginning this firm was very attentive but I guess if no money is to made then you fall to the bottom of the list. I understand that there are delays but I also understand that communication is key. I’ve had about 4 different attorneys on my case only to be excommunicated by all.

It must be their own employees writing five star comments because so far the line of communication has been terrible do you have not done nothing on my behalf that benefit me even though on the injured party I’m disgusted with the way they handle their clients

I appreciate a handful of people that handled my case including Mr.Bangel, Mr. Cohen and Mr.Falconitti. I am hurt from an injury at work and went through a extremely rough time with no income and lost a lot in over a 2 year period . I never new how terrible it is to go through a workman's comp injury till this time in my life. I needed answers on were my next meal was going to be from or how I was going to afford get to therapy . I was told it was going to be a long process and it wasn't easy, but after so long there finally becomes a point that your time is up in court and that time is when the heavy hitters stepped up to the plate and I was so happy to hear Mr. Falconeti or Mr.cohen and Mr.Bangel fighting for me against their lawyer's and speaking on my behalf to the judge, they really did their jobs and applied their skills and knowledge to my case. Most of all I want to thank Bob Watson who was extremely helpful to me in this hole procedure, when I spoke with him I felt no weight on my shoulders and I felt so comfortable when ever he was handling parts of my case, he always got back to me with answers and treated me like I was somebody important and I admire that so dearly.

The most helpful law firm. Outstanding empathy for the clients!! They have been nothing but kind and understanding to me. They walked me step by step through the ups and downs of this process while never having me lose hope. They are the definition of true teamwork.

Used their services for a workers compensation case . Biggest mistake of my life.

My shoulder was destroyed on the job early in 2020. I hired a union recommended firm to represent me in my Workers Compensation case. They were fired after a few months because they were ineffective, cookie cutter type of attorneys that did not appear to have my best interest as their priority. I did research to find a firm with good reviews that wasn't so big that they forget why they're in business. I opted to go with Bangel, Cohen, & Falconetti after a brief discussion or interview with one of their intake attorney's. Ultimately, I had the distinct honor and pleasure of having Brandon, Lawrence, and Jonathan represent me at all of the hearings to date. The big difference in this firm, as compared to the other huge firm in Farmingdale, is this firm took the time to have the representing attorney call me before each hearing and explain, in detail, what the hearing was going to be about, possible outcomes, and answer any questions. Then, as sure as the sun rises in the east, they contacted me after each hearing to go over what all the legalize meant and instruct me on what was next. This firm communicates exceptionally well, and has amazing paralegals and assistants. Thank you to Jessenia for always getting back to me. You are a gem.
